Ally Lewber set the record straight on her living situation.
The Vanderpump Rules alum made headlines this summer after she spent weeks on the East Coast with Charleston-based Bravolebrities. The Ohio native shared the experience on Instagram, posting photos of her fun-filled reunions with Southern Charm alum Olivia Flowers, Southern Hospitality’s Maddi Reese, and more.
Ally’s time in the Palmetto State led many to believe that she had ditched her Hollywood home and officially relocated to Charleston. But as the speculation swirled, Ally remained pretty tight-lipped about the rumored move — that is, until recently.
Ally Lewber admits she felt “pushed” out of Los Angeles
“I have not moved… yet,” she revealed during a recent episode of the Disrespectfully podcast, hosted by Vanderpump Rules alums Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan. “I think I’m moving. Honestly, guys, I just have been feeling called, pushed actually, out of L.A.”
Ally said she decided to travel to Charleston over the summer after a series of unfortunate setbacks. She revealed her car had been stolen from her apartment complex’s gated garage and had yet to be recovered. Shortly after the incident, she learned that her astrology podcast, Starstruck with Ally Lewber, had been canceled.

“That little season that I had wrapped, but it’s not getting picked back up,” she said about the series. “It was supposed to go, go, go, but it was just expensive to make. My team was amazing. I’m still kind of working with the team. I’m gonna go and do some resident astrology stuff for their true crime podcast. But the team was doing everything — production, editing. It was a lot to make, and I just don’t think the numbers were there.”
Ally Lewber explains her extended stay in Charleston
Following the car theft and podcast cancellation, Ally began questioning why she was still in Los Angeles.
“I’m like, ‘OK, what’s keeping me here right now?’ Nothing,” she recalled. “So, I was just like, I’m gonna travel and have fun.’ I was already in Charleston visiting family and friends, and I was there for a week, and I had a lot of fun, so I decided to get a cute Airbnb and go there for a month and try it out. And I loved it. I had a lot of fun.”
Is Ally Lewber moving to South Carolina?
It was clear Ally had developed a strong connection to Charleston, as her face lit up when reflecting on the experience. The hosts then plainly asked if she was going to pack her bags and officially move to the Holy City.
“I’m highly considering it. I think that I am,” she said. “I have family there, I have friends there. I love LA. I don’t want people to think I hate LA. It’s just that I need a change. I’ve been feeling numb here, honestly.”

Ally explained she could continue her astrology readings from Charleston and had opportunities to perform her music there. In fact, during her month-long stay in South Carolina, Ally secured a few live gigs.
“Leva [Bonaparte]… she has restaurants and bars, and so, when I was there, I would sing and play at her little restaurants, which was really fun,” Ally said. “When you feel called to do something, I’m just gonna do it… And if I hate it, I can always come back.”
