Amanda Batula reveals new details about meeting Ben Waddell for the first time in a new preview clip from Summer House Season 10.
The sneak peek from Episode 11 (airing on Tuesday, April 14, at 8 p.m. ET/PT), which you can check out above, picks back up with Ben confronting Amanda for allegedly telling his new girlfriend Sabrina that everyone thinks he’s “in love with” her at Lindsay Hubbard’s housewarming party (more on that below). Though Amanda is contrite in her talk with Ben, she strikes a more defiant tone while unpacking the drama in a confessional.
“I don’t understand what’s going on,” Amanda declares to a producer. “This girl just showed up, and we’re all supposed to be like, ‘They’re in love! Welcome!’ No. This man has been so f–king single all summer. He showed up single; he’s been acting single. And then this girl comes back in his life, and he’s like, ‘Amanda, I’m falling in love. How dare you.’ It’s like, how dare I what? How dare you? I’m married. How dare you, sir?”

Though Amanda previously revealed that she and Ben went skinny-dipping (with Kyle Cooke also present) after meeting at a mutual friend’s wedding in Italy, she goes on to share more intel on their initial encounter.
“This man wanted to f–k me in Italy,” Amanda claims. “There’s a whole group chat about it, and his friends had to be like, ‘She has a husband.’ Did I play into it? Maybe, because who doesn’t like a little attention? But, like, do not turn this around on me. I get that, like, you’re in love now. Do not act like I’m the one.”

Ben had pulled Amanda aside to discuss the drama during a group golf outing at the end of Episode 10, and when their conversation resumes in the preview, he explains, “I just wanted to squash it because [Sabrina] was upset afterwards. … This is a girl that, like, you know, that I’m falling in love with and I’m, like… I’m putting all this effort in. That’s who I want to be with.”
Amanda replies, “I didn’t think about what weight my words had. I just wasn’t thinking at all. It was the end of the night, we had all been drinking, and I just was chatting the way I do. And just meeting Sabrina, I definitely could have thought about my words better.”

Ben, meanwhile, acknowledges that he tends to “give lots of compliments” and wants to “make people feel good,” but he doesn’t want Amanda to misinterpret his kindness to her amid marital drama with Kyle as having any romantic undertones.
While concluding their one-on-one, Amanda tells Ben, “I’d love to talk to Sabrina too and apologize. The last thing I wanted to make her feel is any sort of way or to spiral or to get upset with you.”
As Ben shares, Sabrina will be coming out to the Hamptons the following day. He also says that it would “be really nice” for them to have that conversation upon her arrival.

Back at the house, Amanda has a debrief with Ciara Miller about her conflict with Ben.
“I have such anxiety,” Amanda tells Ciara, before explaining, “Sabrina told Ben that I told her that Ben was in love with me.”
Ciara already knows about his issue; however, she was filled in that they had “talked about it in the car” during their drive out to the Hamptons earlier the same day.
After Mia Calabrese joins them, Amanda adds, “I don’t remember saying anything about ‘He’s in love with me’ or whatever. Don’t recall saying that at all. I’d love to talk to her about it and just, like, apologize. The conversation just made me feel icky.”
