Amanda Batula has been “dying to move.” The Summer House cast member and her husband, Kyle Cooke, currently live in an apartment in Lower Manhattan. But a move could be in their near future as a couple.
Amanda spoke with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, where she opened up about her desire to move. Although she didn’t reveal if she wants to change homes within NYC or outside of it, she admitted that she and Kyle are always looking for new places to live. “I have been dying to move. I think you guys have seen for the past five years,” she admitted. “So we’re always looking for new apartments.”
However, she admitted that they have a standard for what they’d like their new apartment to look like. So, they won’t move “until the perfect place arises.” “We just can’t find one that we’ve settled on that both of us like,” she continued. “So we’re still up in the air on that. Like, especially when you’ve lived in the perfect place for six years.”
Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke share how they are updating their current apartment
These days, the couple is focused on making some updates to their current apartment. Earlier this week, the duo took to Instagram Stories, where they shared how they are updating their home. “Back with [Amanda and Kyle] for a long overdue Edit & Organize of their home,” their home organizer shared in a post. “Stay tuned the next few days to see all of the behind-the-scenes.”
Does Amanda Batula want to move to New Jersey?
Yes, Amanda wants to move to New Jersey eventually. “That is where I ultimately want to live,” Amanda told The Daily Dish in an interview on January 28.Â
She continued, opening up about their house hunting journey, which was documented during Summer House Season 8. “We were looking for an investment property,” she added. “Last year, I think it got simplified down to people thinking we were looking for a house in New Jersey and we were ready to move.”

Amanda Batula reveals how her relationship with Kyle Cooke has evolved
Amanda further dished on her relationship with Kyle during an appearance on The Summer House Always Wins panel at BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, Nov. 15. It was here that she remarked on how much she has evolved since Summer House Season 1.
“When I started, I was 24. I was actually labeled as Kyle’s ex-girlfriend, but was never actually his girlfriend, so that was fun,” she said. “So I’ve done so much growing up. And now that I’m 34, because it has been 10 years, I feel like I’m a whole different person.”

“I feel like I’ve really come into my own, you know,” she continued. “I was Kyle’s ex-girlfriend, then Kyle’s girlfriend, then Kyle’s fianceé, then Kyle’s wife, and now I’m sitting next to Mr. Batula, also known as Amanda Batula’s husband.”
“It’s 2025, I’m taking her name,” Kyle joked.
