Summer House’s Amanda Batula only recently announced her separation from Kyle Cooke, but what does her dating life look like today?
Andy Cohen inquired on the Feb. 3 episode of Watch What Happens Live, asking Amanda whether she or Kyle would be the first to start dating other people. “Maybe me?” she confessed, much to the applause of the live audience. “Would that be crazy? Maybe?”
Both Amanda and Kyle have maintained that things remain “great” between them since announcing their split after four years of marriage, and Andy himself wondered if there was a universe in which Amanda and Kyle got back together.
“It doesn’t matter what happens, it’s up to us,” Amanda explained. “So, like, yeah, it could happen, it could not. Right now, probably not.”
Where Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke stand amid their split
As it currently stands, the pair continues to keep things copasetic — despite living in separate homes. As Amanda confirmed on the WWHL episode, they began living separately “just before” attending BravoCon 2025 in November, but still talk “multiple times a week.”

What’s more, they continue to get along for the sake of co-parenting their two rescue dogs, Reese and Ryder, whom they adopted in 2022.
“It’s working right now, and that’s all that matters,” Amanda told Andy. “I just want the dogs to be happy.”
She confirmed there’s “a lot of love still there” between them, and both have denied a single source behind why they decided to go their separate ways.
“I think every step we’ve taken, there’s a little bit of, like, a weight has been lifted,” Kyle explained when he and the rest of the Season 10 cast sat for a Jan. 27 episode of Radio Andy. “And, ironically, I feel like this last week, having kind of pressed post together … it felt like we were a little more light. Lighthearted.”
What to know about Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s separation
The pair issued a joint statement on Jan. 19, announcing the split on their respective Instagram Stories mere weeks before the Season 10 premiere:

“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” they stated. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing. It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
The pair began a months-long relationship prior to the show’s debut season, only to reconnect when filming for Season 1 began in 2016. They were engaged in the Season 3 finale and tied the knot about three years later.
Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are about to embark on “the next chapter” of their lives
The Summer House OGs’ decision to take an indefinite break, however, shouldn’t suggest that either of them is taking a break from their Bravo careers. In fact, as Amanda teased a Jan. 28 panel at the 92nd Street Y in NYC, she and Kyle would soon join Lindsay Hubbard for the still-to-come spinoff, In the City, as they embark on “the next chapter” of their lives.
“There’s a lot of couples that are engaged or in serious relationships, married, with children,” Amanda explained. “Where Summer House is a lot more about singles and hookups and partying. So, you’re more so navigating that next chapter and that next phase in life. It’s a little more into adulthood. Not too much.”
“Just a touch,” Kyle chimed in.
