Bravo extraordinaire Andy Cohen undoubtedly has countless moments across the Real Housewives franchise he holds close to his heart, but there’s something special about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
That’s what he told Us Weekly when RHOSLC OGs Heather Gay, Mary Cosby, Whitney Rose, Meredith Brooks, and Lisa Barlow posed for the cover, their own version of Vanity Fair’s famous Desperate Housewives photoshoot from 2005. Said the Watch What Happens Live host and head of all Housewives reunions, “The snow, Mormonism, and their unique history with each other make them their own universe.”
The show’s Season 4 finale would go down as “one of he best single episodes of television in Bravo history,” Andy added.
Audiences won’t soon forget the “receipts, proof, timeline, [and] screenshots” Heather provided in the bombshell episode, identifying former Housewife Monica Garcia behind the fake Reality Von Tease social media account stirring up mischief all season long. Recalling the event, which took place in Bermuda, Heather told Us Weekly that it was a “bonding” moment for the rest of the cast, which also included then-newcomer Angie Katsanevas.
At the time, Andy wondered aloud when speaking with Today, “The biggest question is, ‘When did production find out?’ And the answer is down south on this trip is when everyone found this out.”
What is Andy Cohen’s role with Real Housewives?
The rest, as they say, is history.
When actor and Bravo fan Ben Stiller appeared as a guest on the exec’s Radio Andy on Sirius XM, he wondered what Andy’s involvement with Housewives looked like today. Andy revealed in the Jan. 17 episode that he gives “notes on every episode.”

Andy Cohen teases what’s next for Real Housewives
Bravoholics regularly look to Andy for the latest forecast of what drama awaits, and there is much to look forward to. Take, for example, the upcoming The Real Housewives of Rhode Island as the franchise expands to new cities.
The father of two told Page Six, “The cast is incredible,” teasing a “more Italian” dynamic among the to-be-announced cast, adding a focus on “deep families.” Continued Andy, “Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections. I think it’s really going to surprise people.”
As for the upcoming Season 15 of RHOBH, Andy left fans at the edge of their seats by stating the cast trip was reportedly “the biggest since Amsterdam.” What’s more, on the Oct. 2 episode of WWHL, he teased to Jimmy Fallon that there was a “banger of a season coming up,” adding he was “really, really excited” to see it himself.
Meanwhile, Andy couldn’t wait for the almost-here crossover Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. “This show is blowing me away,” he said.
And, veering a little off from the Housewives, he left six fire emojis once the steamy trailer for Southern Charm’s Season 11 dropped earlier this month.
