Andy Cohen is giving The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Whitney Rose and her husband high praise for how they’re navigating their personal and professional lives on Season 6.
During the Oct. 14 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Justin Rose sat in the live audience as Whitney sat in the hot seat. There to discuss what audiences saw on RHOSLC Season 6, Episode 5 — featuring Whitney opening up about marriage amid their “devastating” financial losses — Whitney said she went into this season ready to put all her cards on the table.
Andy stated that he “loved” her openness on the season premiere when Whitney candidly addressed her and Justin’s failed business venture. Referring to the most recent episode, the Bravo exec specifically praised the Housewife for sharing how she “felt unsupported” by her husband, adding, “You’re really leaning into your honesty.”
Responded Whitney, “I have strong feelings, as everyone knows, and I’ve chosen to lead this year with authenticity, completely and fully transparent. I’m not going to fake my life, and this is what I’m going through, and it’s not always pretty.”
What is Whitney Rose and Justin Rose’s failed business?
“We had massive success in the beginning, and some things transpired that I can’t talk about legally, but I decided to resign as CEO in November of 2024 after launching in June of 2024,” Whitney said in an Us Weekly interview published on Oct. 15. “Luckily, I was able to see the writing on the wall quick enough and pump the brakes and stop the bleeding.”
Following an “expensive fight,” Whitney regained control of her brand, she explained in an exclusive interview at Bravo HQ.

Whitney Rose talks about the difficulties of her and Justin’s marriage
Aside from the financial troubles, the failed merger reached Whitney and her husband of over 15 years on a personal level. As she tearfully told producers on the most recent RHOSLC episode, “Wild Rose Beauty was the thing that finally made me feel equal in our marriage.”
In hindsight, she said the father of Bobbie and Brooks Rose “showed no interest,” Whitney continued, “and I didn’t realize how much I needed Justin’s approval and how much it hurt me that he didn’t want to be a part of Wild Rose Beauty.”
“It’s hard, because I love Justin,” she maintained, “but I also resent him, and I don’t feel like I can talk to Justin about these feelings right now. Our marriage is beautiful, but communication is the thing that we struggle with.”
Whitney Rose struggles with her husband’s job loss
Whitney also expressed how she struggled to deal with Justin losing his job on Season 3. Moreover, she cited her own “fun, wild, and free-spirited” ways as part of the reason.
Admitted the Housewife, “That hit me at such a deep level that I felt like I had to change that part of me, to conform to who I thought Whitney had to be. And, in the end, I ended up losing it all anyways, so we’re getting back to being the fun, free-spirited, loving, wild, sexy Whitney that I am.”
How are Whitney and Justin Rose’s finances now?
Whitney shared on the aforementioned WWHL episode that income from other business avenues, including her jewelry brand, PRISM, has kept their career-related matters afloat. “Do you know what’s beautiful? I have multiple streams of income,” she told Andy. “I have PRISM, I have a lot of other things, so we’re fine.”
Their relationship seems to be doing just fine, too. Less than a year ago, Whitney told Bravo’s The Daily Dish, “Marriage is up and down. Relationships are up and down. I think the key is communication.”
