After Amanda Batula and West Wilson issued a statement earlier this week responding to speculation regarding their relationship and confirming their “connection,” Andy Cohen is addressing the situation ahead of the upcoming Summer House Season 10 reunion.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host spoke on the matter on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, in an episode on Wednesday, April 1. On his radio show, Andy shared how the topic will be addressed at the upcoming Summer House Season 10 reunion, which is filming soon. “I will say that I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this. I did not,” he said. “I have so many questions, and the reunion is coming up. And, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”
During the episode of his SiriusXM show, Andy noted that fans should keep this aspect in mind when it comes to how they handle the news. “I do think it’s worth reminding everybody, all the passionate fans of the show, that these are real people involved,” he said. “Just know these are real people who are dealing with a lot.”

Amanda and West released a joint statement on March 31, in which they opened up about the current status of their relationship following rumors.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they said in the statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” the statement continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care. As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
