Andy Cohen thinks The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 is a “delight.” The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host and executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise recently confirmed that he has watched the first few episodes of the brand new season of RHOA, and he is very happy with the newest additions to the cast.
Andy took to his Sirius XM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, on Wednesday, March 4, where he admitted that the RHOA Season 17 cast is really good. “This is the cast we’ve been waiting for,” he told his radio show co-host, John Hill, during the episode.
He continued, revealing that newcomer K. Michelle, who was previously on Love & Hip Hop, fits well into the cast. “I have never seen one frame of Love & Hip Hop,” Andy admitted. “Now, once we started filming and I was reading hot sheets from Atlanta, I DM’ed K. Michelle to say, ‘You’re so great. I’m glad you’re on the team.’ What did I find? But a DM from K. Michelle from like 2023 or something being like, ‘I need a peach. This is the show that I belong on.'”
“Somehow, I had missed this,” he admitted.
Andy Cohen opens up about RHOA Season 17 new cast member, Pinky Cole
Andy is also so happy that Pinky Cole, entrepreneur and founder of vegan restaurant chain Slutty Vegan, is also joining the cast. She and K. Michelle are “pals,” according to Andy. She’s also friends with Phaedra Parks, who has “known Pinky for 10 plus years from around Atlanta.”
“Pinky and Shamea [Morton Mwangi] are pals,” Andy continued. “Porsha [Williams] and K. Michelle go way back.”

Andy Cohen previews RHOA Season 17
The premiere episode of RHOA Season 17, according to Andy, is pretty funny. “It’s a real group, but when I tell you I was cackling at the premiere,” Andy noted. “Now, I had seen it and we had a little, you know, I watch the cuts and we give notes and there was work to be done, but I was like, ‘Wow, this is super promising.’ But boy, I’m five episodes into Atlanta, of cuts, and it’s a delight.”
