Andy Stuns Tamra Judge by Calling Out Her Season 19 Behavior

While discussing Tamra Judge’s behavior throughout The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19, reunion host Andy Cohen appeared to wonder if they were watching the same show.

After Tamra joked about quitting again at the top of RHOC‘s Reunion Part 1, Andy struck a more serious tone while asking about her “intentions” for the day and if she was still going to therapy.

“Going into the season, I was emotionally in a really difficult spot,” Tamra answered, before confirming that she’d had a therapy session just days earlier. “I am just trying to not get reactive when I get upset.”

That prompted the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host to point out, “I did think that, somehow, you were going to have a different approach to conflict this season, based on the therapy.”

Seemingly puzzled by his assessment, Tamra replied, “You didn’t think that I was calmer this season than any other?”

Andy’s blunt response? “I didn’t.”

Regardless, when the WWHL host asked Tamra later if her therapy journey had “enlightened” her to anything she wanted to apologize for at the reunion, she still said, “Um, yeah. My plan is to stay calm, apologize, take accountability, and try to move forward.”

Tamra Judge explains her RHOC Season 19 behavior

Earlier on the Nov. 6 RHOC reunion episode, Tamra attributed her new mindset to bestie Teddi Mellencamp’s recent news that she had no detectable cancer remaining.

“I’m in better spirits because of Teddi,” Tamra said. “It’s a miracle. Her last scan: zero tumors detected.”

Indeed, throughout Season 19, she explained multiple times that finding out about Teddi’s brain tumor diagnosis amidst processing other “unprocessed trauma” and “intrusive thoughts” in therapy ultimately led to her emotional reactions on the show.

All the while, Tamra also had to contend with the Season 19 return of longtime foes Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley. Despite several attempts at a truce, Tamra and Gretchen never could quite see eye to eye, as they both continued to drop bombshells about each other’s private lives. That included Gretchen and Slade repeating a rumor that Tamra had an affair with an unnamed boy bander, years ago.

By castmate Heather Dubrow’s count, Tamra ultimately “quit” RHOC three times in total, by the season’s end.

“You also have to understand, when I was going through therapy, you know, I was on a good track,” Tamra clarified at the reunion. “And then two weeks into filming, with everything that was going on with Teddi, that derailed me a bit.”

Still, Shannon Storms Beador — with whom Tamra clashed throughout Season 19 — claimed that Tamra never gave her any “grace” while she similarly navigated the “hardest time” in her life amid their ongoing feud. Shannon even came up with a new nickname for her: Tamra Grudge.

“I don’t hold grudges,” Tamra fired back. “That’s my problem: I let go of things very quickly.”

Even after all of that, cameras picked back up on the RHOC finale to reveal a new shocker involving Tamra.

After production wrapped, some of the women received DMs from an unnamed person who claimed that Tamra had allegedly been leaking behind-the-scenes information to bloggers and fan pages throughout filming. So, Shannon, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Jennifer Pedranti hopped on a call with the person to find out what exactly they knew.

After confirming that the tipster had accurate information about several things that had been filmed — but had not yet aired — all three women expressed anger toward Tamra.

However, the RHOC Season 19 reunion trailer revealed that Tamra didn’t find out that this happened until Andy rolled the clip. You can expect to see Tamra’s response during Part 3 of the reunion, which is set to air on Nov. 20. That’s when, according to the reunion announcement, “Emotions run at an all-time high as the ladies react to seeing the footage from the season finale for the first time, leaving Tamra in a position that has everyone questioning her integrity.”
