Angel Uriarte And Noah Beard Arrested In Connection With California Murder
Investigators reportedly found evidence at the scene that allegedly linked Uriarte and Beard to the shooting.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Beard without incident. While Beard was arrested, Uriarte reportedly fled from law enforcement officials and “fired several shots at ATF agents.”
The ATF agents fired back, striking Uriarte in the torso. He was sent to the hospital for surgery and is expected to survive.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said two members of the Parraz family were “well-known validated Surreno gang members,” but Goshen, where they lived, is a “predominantly Norteno town.”
Uriarte and Beard are reportedly members of the Norteno gang.
Charging documents show Beard and Uriarte’s murder charges also have special allegations attached, including their alleged involvement in a street gang.
The shooting occurred in the early hours of Jan. 16 on the 6800 block of Harvest Road. Tulare County deputies went to the scene and found two people deceased in the street and another in the doorway. The victims were reportedly shot in the head, and Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said the attack was “not a random act of violence.”
KGPE/KSEE-TV reports Uriarte is still in the hospital, but Beard went to court Tuesday, Feb. 7, and pleaded not guilty.
