There is one Southern Charm moment that remains iconic. And that moment just so happens to be the Season 5 conversation between Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo in which he asked her, “What’s wrong with my sewing?” The pair were dating at the time and later broke up, and Naomie recently revealed where the duo stand today.
Naomie hosted an “Ask me anything” Q&A session on her Instagram account earlier this week, where she addressed a wide range of topics — including her current friendship status with Craig. During the candid chat, one fan asked the Southern Charm alum, “Would you and Craig ever do a TikTok ‘what’s wrong with my sewing,’ it would be epic viral,” to which Naomie responded, “Hahahahha, funny enough, we just talked about how hilarious this would be the other day. Maybe!”
Craig later reposted the response first shared by Naomie to his own Instagram Stories (below).

Inside Craig Conover’s sewing-related career
Following that moment, Craig would go on to launch a successful pillow brand, Sewing Down South. It started as a small business in his home in Charleston, but has expanded to being sold nationwide in stores (including the brand’s flagship store in Charleston) and online, and includes a wide range of products. He even named his memoir in tribute to the moment, Pillow Talk: What’s Wrong with My Sewing?.
Back in June, Craig reflected on the brand’s success. “I told them sewing was my hobby… and I wanted to turn it into a business,” he wrote in a video posted to Instagram. “HOLY AIRBALL.”
