Salley Carson shared new insight into her current dynamic with Austen Kroll on the Feb. 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The Southern Charm cast member, more specifically, revealed that she met up with Austen, his mom, and his sister Katie Kroll in New York City following Austen’s Feb. 4 WWHL appearance. The information came to light after Andy Cohen remarked that Mrs. Kroll seemed “very much approving” of Salley during her visit to the Clubhouse, to which Salley responded, “I had lunch with her afterwards … Well, and sister, and Austen.”
“That seems fast,” Andy replied, before later returning to the topic of Austen by touching on the Season 11 moment in which his mom expressed that she wanted him to someday experience the joys of parenthood. Salley’s response? “I loved that conversation because I want kids.”

Salley Carson makes a clarification about her and Austen Kroll’s flirtation
Elsewhere on WWHL, Salley insisted that she had never acted on her feelings for Austen when he was still dating Audrey Pratt.
“I did not make a move on him while he was with Audrey, and I would not have done that, and [Austen] wouldn’t have either. He was very respectful of her,” she explained. “I mean, I was saying things to my girlfriends, like, ‘He’s hot; he has a great personality,’ but I would be flattered if someone was saying that about my boyfriend.”

Salley added that she and Audrey hadn’t been close friends to begin with, “other than her just hanging around the group.”
Still, on the Southern Charm After Show, she expressed her regret over her reaction to Austen and Audrey’s split. As she put it, “I’m gonna get the ick watching myself back. I feel bad when anybody breaks up, but at the same time, I just was, like, in this moment. I was being selfish and thinking about myself, for sure.”

In January, Salley shared that Austen has become on of her “closest friends.”
“There is not a day where we don’t talk … We just have very similar personalities,” she added. “We have a lot of fun together.”
Austen shared a similar sentiment around the same time, but insisted they’re not dating. As he put it, “We are close now. Like, she’s texting me, I’ve been texting her. And we have become close. But no, we’re not dating, anything like that. I really, really like where me and Salley are.”
