The L.A.-based bar owner sat down for Bravo HQ Live, a livestreamed event for Bravo Insiders, to answer fans’ burning questions, including his Florida home status, his time on The Valley and Summer House, and more — including his past romances. Fans were anxious to learn what was up with Tom and ex Jo Wenberg, and Tom was quick to reveal, “She’s still blocked.”
However, that doesn’t keep Tom from wanting what’s best for his old pal.
Are Tom Schwartz and Jo Wenberg still friends?
No. Tom told Bravo HQ Live in June 2025 that, despite the highs of their relationship, it was “better just to keep her blocked.”
“I don’t hold a grudge; I’m so quick to forgive; I love shaking hands and hugging it out,” Tom explained. “So, there’s no lingering resentment, but people will continually send me things where she’s talking about different aspects of whatever you want to call our relationship … And every time I see that, I’m like, ‘Eh, maybe it’s better just to keep her blocked.’”
He elaborated that, despite keeping Jo at arm’s length, there was “no bad blood,” and he was “still rooting for Jo.”
“I want to see her thrive and be successful and happy and glow up and get everything she ever wanted — except for me!” Tom laughed, adding, “I don’t think she wants me anymore.”

Tom and Jo started as roommates in Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules following Tom’s divorce from costar Katie Maloney. The hairstylist appeared one season later after they went from platonic to something more, though she and Tom weren’t quite on the same page as far as relationship goals.
Tom made it clear in Season 11 that they were “never in a formal relationship,” despite confessing at the Season 10 reunion they had a “friends-with-benefits thing.”
Flash forward to March 2024, when Tom confirmed he blocked Jo on social media and “cut [her] from [his] life forever.” At the time, the Tom Tom partner accused Jo of being a “compulsive liar” and making “dangerous accusations” to Tom’s relatives behind his back.

“I suppose one of these days I’ll unblock her,” Tom said, adding that Jo was the first person he ever blocked.
Despite not seeing her social media activities, Tom wouldn’t mind seeing Jo in a different light these days.
“I’d love to see Jo on another reality television show,” Tom admitted.
On Tom’s list? Peacock’s The Traitors, where longtime friend and business partner Tom Sandoval competed in the game show’s third season.
“She’s got such a unique personality and outlook on life,” he said.
Who is Tom Schwartz dating now?
As of June 2025, Tom is currently enjoying the single life.
“I’m just kinda laying low right now,” he said. “I think I’m OK with being single.”
However, Tom felt a little “torn” because he wasn’t getting any younger. Keeping up with new episodes of The Valley — available to watch now on Peacock as Season 2 continues — Tom said he lives “vicariously” through his friends as they continue to juggle parenthood, romantic relationships, and adulting.
“I want to start a family; I want to have a farm; make some babies,” Tom revealed.
Tom reflected on the life of married couple Danny Booko and Nia Booko, who just welcomed their fourth child into the world. He believed such a stage of life felt “far-fetched” at the current time for him but “not unattainable.”
“I’m almost positive I’ll find it,” Tom continued. “I know myself, and I know I’ll be a good dad.”
