Kim Zolciak has been granted a “fresh start” amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann, according to her daughter Ariana Biermann. Kim’s second oldest daughter, who will appear on Next Gen NYC, recently spoke to The Daily Dish and shared updates about her parents, including where Kim is living today.
“My mom’s new house is amazing,” Ariana told The Daily Dish. “She’s so happy.”
Both Kroy (who legally adopted Ariana and Brielle Biermann in 2013) and Kim are living in Georgia while they go through their divorce, but have since moved out of their shared house after it was sold earlier this year.
“[Kim] was living in the basement of our old house…so I think for her, it’s almost like a really nice, fresh start,” Ariana shared. “Where she can be in her own space and kind of just heal from everything that’s gone on in the past couple of years.”

Kim spoke at the Ultimate Woman’s Expo in Atlanta earlier this month, where she revealed that living in her new place has come as a bit of a challenge. This is because she has to drive her 12-year-old Kash Biermann, and 13-year-old, Kroy Jagger Biermann, to football practice at their old schools.
“It’s tough,” she explained. “My two older boys are in football, so I have to get up every morning this week at 5:30 to take them to practice, and then they have practice after school, and I moved and I’m not in the school district right now, so I’m driving all over the place.”

Kim and Kroy’s house, which Ariana and her five siblings grew up in, sold in January for $2.75 million. The 9,500-square foot sprawling estate had seven bedrooms, 11Â bathrooms, a movie theater and an incredible backyard, with a basketball court and an in-ground pool.Â
Ariana took to Instagram in December, where she filmed a video of her giving her official goodbyes to the house. In the video, Ariana can be seen standing in empty rooms throughout the house, including her childhood bedroom, while she chased her younger siblings around the home. “Last Christmas in my childhood home, thank you God for all the amazing memories [with] my family,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Goodbye.”

Ariana spoke with Us Weekly in April, where she admitted that the divorce has taken a toll on everyone in the family. “I think it gets hard sometimes,” she said. “It’s been a really long divorce. [It’s been] two-and-a-half f–king years, and it’s not even almost done.”
She continued, telling the publication that she was excited for her mom to have a new beginning. “She’s been with my stepdad for 13 [or] 14 years now, and I’m just excited for her to just be a mom,” she explained. “I tell her, ‘It’s your first time in this world, too, so I’ll be your mom sometimes when you need it.'”

Ariana also recently admitted to The Daily Dish that she “doesn’t know” how Kroy has been amid the divorce. “I haven’t spoken to him in a little bit,” she said. But, she revealed that he had been trying to call her, so she would be “speaking to him soon.”
“I hope he’s doing amazing,” she added. “I think it’s a really tough situation right now, between the family, and it goes through its waves. But he lives in his own house as well, so I hope he’s happy I’m doing great.”

Kim has been dating, according to Ariana.
“She’s exploring her options, and she should,” she told Us Weekly. “She’s out there and she deserves it. I’m like, ‘Don’t get anything serious yet.’ I also tell her we’re in a totally different world than we once were and these people are f–king crazy.”
Kim, who has previously been linked to musician and actor Chet Hanks, spoke with TMZ in March, where she revealed she’s dating “one person.” “I’m really, very happy,” she added.
