Ariana Biermann’s friendship with Riley Burruss is still going strong. The BFFs reconnected during Next Gen NYC Season 1 after first meeting as pre-teens on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2, and now have “got” each other’s backs, according to Ariana.
Ariana took to her Instagram Story on Riley’s 23rd birthday on Aug. 22, where she posted a series of photos of them together, both new and old. Throughout her photo dump, the Next Gen NYC cast member wrote such sweet messages to the NYU grad on her big day.
In one photo, the friends can be seen engaging in a side hug and smiling with their eyes closed, while Ariana wore a pair of thigh-high hot pink boots. “IDK how I’d do New York without you,” she wrote over the photo. She also posted another picture of them, hanging out at an event together. “I got you always,” Ariana added.
She continued, posting a super cute photo of them, hanging out with a pig on vacation. “I’m so grateful for you,” she noted.
Ariana also posted an adorable photo of the two of them as young girls. “Happy birthday to my best friend,” she wrote over the photo, tagging Riley.
“OMG throwback,” Riley added when she re-posted the photo.

Where Riley Burruss stands with Gia Giudice and Brooks Marks now
Next Gen NYC cast members and Riley’s friends, Brooks Marks, and Gia Giudice, also took to Instagram Stories to wish her a happy birthday weeks after the Season 1 finale. Brooks posted two photos of himself and Riley, out to dinner, smiling next to each other. “Happy [Riley Burruss] day!!” he wrote in between the photos.
Gia also posted a photo of her and Riley hanging out together. Although Gia admitted to Us Weekly in June that she is much closer to Ariana and Brooks, the friends only seem to have grown closer, even getting together to watch the Next Gen NYC Season 1 finale.
“Happy birthday,” Gia wrote over the photo. “Cheers to another year of love and happiness.”

Riley’s friends weren’t the only ones to wish her a happy birthday. Riley’s mom, Kandi Burruss, took to Instagram over the weekend, where she revealed that she had taken a “quick flight” to NYC to see her “baby girl” for her birthday. “I can’t believe [Riley Burruss] is 23!” she wrote in the caption of the post.
The day before, Kandi also took to Instagram, where she penned a sweet tribute to her oldest daughter. “I’m so proud of the woman she’s becoming and can’t wait for y’all to see what’s next,” she noted.

Riley’s dad and founder of Block Entertainment, Russell “Block” Spencer, also posted a series of photos of Riley on social media, and took to the caption of the post, where he joked around with Kandi. “Happy B’day to my baby girl [Riley],” he wrote in the caption. “[Kandi] you could have waited a couple of more [hours] and she would have been a [Virgo] and born on the same day as ME!”
