Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen reunited in New York City this week for one very momentous occasion.
The Vanderpump Rules alum got to sit alongside Andy to co-host the Love Island USA Season 7 reunion, which filmed on Aug. 12 in the Big Apple. Both Ariana and the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host were very excited to share hosting duties, taking to Instagram throughout the day to give a behind-the-scenes look at the reunion taping.
Ariana and Andy took to their Instagram feeds in a joint post, where they gave a brief tease at their respective reunion looks. In the photo, Ariana can be seen wearing a navy blue sequin dress, which she accessorized with a very sparkly necklace, as she sat next to Andy. Andy himself looked just as happy wearing a light blue blazer over a black t-shirt as he gave a closed-mouth smile to the camera.
“There’s been a re-coupling!” the co-hosts wrote in the caption of the post.
Ariana appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers ahead of the Love Island USA Season 7 reunion taping, where she teased what’s to come from the upcoming reunion. During the appearance, she admitted that she “hopes” that some of the couples are still together, because “things move very quickly.”
Come reunion day, Andy had taken to his Instagram Story prior to filming the reunion, where he posted a photo of himself, sitting backstage in hair and makeup, and looking straight into the mirror. “Can I pull you for a chat?” he wrote over the snap.

Andy took to his Instagram Story at 9:40 p.m., in the midst of filming the reunion, where he shared his thoughts on the taping. “Guys, Love Island reunions are no joke,” the longtime Bravo reunion host explained.
“We are on dinner break. It is 9:45, we’re going back in there soon, this reunion — it’s good,” he continued. “And everybody’s here.”

Andy revealed that the reunion ended up concluding at 11 p.m., where he was greeted by a group of people standing outside of the studio. “We don’t get fans in front of Housewives reunions, what the hell man?!” he asked in a video posted to his Story as he was amused by the fandom.
Although Andy revealed that it was a “great” reunion, he still needed some time to relax before heading to bed. He revealed on his story that he ended the evening with “a well-earned tequila.”

The WWHL host also shared his experience with working with Ariana while he was backstage on his dinner break. “I’m having so much fun with Ariana,” he explained. “She’s amazing.”
“And you know what? I like hosting a reunion with her,” he admitted. “It’s really fun!”

Ariana admitted that Andy had given her some advice prior to hosting her first reunion for Love Island USA Season 6 last year. “He just said, ‘Don’t be afraid to go out there and to be you and to put your own stamp on it,'” Ariana told Page Six in September 2024.Â

“Obviously, he’s done so many reunions,” she continued. “He’s literally the king of it! So it was really amazing to be able to get some advice from him before doing it.”
As for how Ariana felt after this recent reunion, she later shared a makeup-free selfie on August 13 and shared, “Not me washing my reunion glam off to find mosquito bite [laugh-cry emoji].”
