Nia Sanchez Booko and her husband, Danny Booko, have experienced their fair share of friendship moments on The Valley. But, they are also very close to singer, Ashlee Simpson Ross, and her actor husband, Evan Ross, whom they “love.”
Nia spoke with The Daily Dish in April, where she opened up about her longtime friendship with Ashlee and Evan. “As long as Daniel and I have been together is how long we’ve been friends,” The Valley cast member explained in our exclusive chat.
“So Daniel did an acting class when he first moved to LA with Evan, and so they became friends,” she continued. “And when I met Daniel, one of the first things he said is ‘I want you to meet one of my friends, Evan.’ So I met Evan, and then two weeks later, he started dating Ashlee. So we’ve all been friends since then.”
Their friendship with the couple has evolved, Nia explained. They’ve been there to witness their major milestones as a couple. “Daniel was in their wedding, they were at my wedding,” she said.

The mom of four admitted that Ashlee has been there to witness her evolution as a mom. It also helps that Ashlee and Evan have two children together — 9-year-old daughter, Jagger Ross, and 3-year-old son, Ziggy Ross, according to E! News. Ashlee also has a teenage son, Bronx, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Pete Wentz.

“We raise kids together,” Nia said. “Their son [Ziggy] is a year older than our son. I’ve known Jagger since she was born [and] Bronx since he was four years old. So yeah, they’re family friends, like, we love them.”

Ashlee appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sept. 9, where she opened up about her friendship with Nia. Evan was also sitting in the audience, where he lent his voice to their friendship. “Evan grew up with Danny,” Ashlee said, as seen in the video above. “They’ve done like, vacations, I mean, ever since we started dating 12 years ago.”
“I was actually in acting class with him when I was like, 15,” Evan noted.

Ashlee revealed that she did watch Danny and Nia on The Valley Season 1, but has not yet seen Season 2 due to her busy schedule.
The mom of three also admitted that she’s “mom friends” with Vanderpump Rules alum, Scheana Shay. “We have little kids, same pre-school,” Ashlee said.Â
“I actually knew Scheana longer [than Ashlee],” Evan remarked, admitting that they knew each other from the LA nightlife scene. “I did not date Scheana,” he added.
