Ashley Darby and Stacey Rusch have a “very complicated” relationship. Ashley spoke with The Daily Dish on Oct. 13, where she opened up about where they stand today amid the airing of The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10.
“I think it will always be complicated,” she said, admitting that they saw each other at the RHOP Season 10 premiere party.
“I’m taking it day by day with her,” she added. “What I’m realizing is she’s a very complicated woman. She’s very complex. And I’m hoping that being in this group and having me as a friend will help her just be more accountable and really to walk in her truth, honestly.”
Ashley had previously opened up about her up and down friendship with Stacey during an Oct. 12 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. When asked by host, Andy Cohen, who she “sparred with the most” during RHOP Season 10, Ashley had a direct answer to the question. “Stacey,” she said.

Ashley was later asked about Stacey’s “relationship with the truth” during her time on WWHL. After being asked to choose between Stacey or RHOP alum Mia Thornton for who has “the most complicated relationship with the truth,” Ashley picked Stacey.

“I’m gonna say Stacey,” she said. “Because the thing about Mia is Mia is crazy, but she acknowledges it. And Stacey will lie to you through her teeth. That’s the scary kind right there.”

The mom of two also honed in on Stacey’s pursuit of RHOP Season 10 friend Monique Samuels’ ex-husband, Chris Samuels (more on that down below). She told Andy on WWHL that she was “shocked” when she learned that Stacey had been trying to pursue the former NFL player.
“Mind you, I got that information months ago,” she shared. “So that was not new. I got that information months ago. Shock and awe.”

Ashley had previously spoke about Stacey’s interest in Chris during RHOP Season 10, Episode 2. Ashley admitted during the episode that she found out the information from a friend who provided her all of the details at her recent Second Bloom Ball.
“As we’re about to go downstairs, she goes, ‘Girl, you know Stacey reached out to me to hook her up with Chris Samuels,” Ashley recalled during a confessional. “I said, ‘Did you?’ And she said, ‘I introduced them.’ That kinda shocked me.”
