Salley Carson has not been shy about her attraction to Austen Kroll throughout Southern Charm Season 11. But where does Salley stand with Austen today?
Salley appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, Jan. 7, where she revealed that she is very close to Austen. “He’s become one of my closest friends,” she explained to WWHL host, Andy Cohen. “There is not a day where we don’t talk. Like, we were talking in the dressing room.”
“But, we just have very similar personalities,” she added. “We have a lot of fun together.”
Austen echoed this sentiment during an episode of The Viall Files on Jan. 7. He admitted on the podcast that he has been having a lot of fun in his relationship with Salley. “Salley and I grow close, and we are close now,” he explained. “Like, she’s texting me, I’ve been texting her. And we have become close. But no, we’re not dating, anything like that. I really, really like where me and Salley are.”

Both Austen and Salley admitted that Southern Charm viewers will get to see how their friendship plays out on Season 11, amid Austen’s breakup with Audrey Pratt. Throughout Southern Charm Season 11, Austen has been open about his hesitancy in continuing to date Audrey before their breakup.
And Austen admitted on the podcast that viewers will get to see his dynamic with Salley as the season goes on. “You’re going to see all of that because, as we just said, Salley’s not shy about talking about her feelings,” he noted. “So she certainly lays them all out there.”

And during her appearance on WWHL, Salley admitted that although it seems like she was interested in Craig Conover, viewers will get to see what transpires between her and Austen. “Y’all thought I was thirsty for Craig. Y’all just wait,” she explained. “When y’all think I’m going after Craig, y’all just wait. Because you’ll see what it’s like when I go after someone.”
