Boyfriend Flees North Carolina for Ohio After Killing Girlfriend, Cops Say – Crime Online

A North Carolina man has been arrested in Ohio for the murder of his girlfriend, who was found dead earlier this month.

William Shook, 32, was located driving his victim’s vehicle in Fairfield County, Ohio, on October 9, two days after deputies in North Carolina found the body of 54-year-old Jamie Suzette McCloud at a home in Taylorsville, WCNC reported.

McCloud’s 2005 Toyota Tacoma was missing from the home, deputies said, and they issued a warrant for Shook on a charge of larceny of a motor vehicle.

Shook was taken into custody in Ohio and waived an extradition hearing on October 13. He was brought back to North Carolina where he was charged with McCloud’s murder.

No other details were released.

He’s being held without bond and is due on court Monday.
