Bozoma Saint John’s daughter, Lael Saint John, celebrated a milestone birthday during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, and Boz made sure to mark the grand occasion with an equally grand gift.
“You’re getting a Maserati!” Boz declared as she led Lael outside to view her new wheels during Episode 8. RHOBH producers noted the Maserati Grecale Trofeo cost $110,200. Clocking her daughter’s wide smile, Boz hugged Lael and told her, “I love you. You deserve it.”
The surprise luxury car was a special exception from Boz’s usual gift-giving tradition. Over the holidays, she shared the unique way she and Lael handle Christmas present wish lists, and it involves note cards, computer presentations, and explanations.
“She doesn’t ask. She PITCHES,” Boz captioned her Dec. 23 Instagram reel. “She’s been doing this since she was three years old. Yes, I’m in the position [to] give her a lot… but I want her to understand VALUE.”
“There’s no ‘just because I want it,’” Boz said in a 2022 interview with TODAY. “She had to have a good rationale [for] why she wanted the thing she wanted. It feels very natural to her because she’s been doing this for so long. It’s not new to her. You don’t want to go through life just collecting stuff. You want to think about the long-term.”

Bozoma Saint John opens up about setbacks in her fertility journey
Bozoma has been forthcoming about her desire to have another child and the fertility struggles she’s experienced. Before giving birth to Lael, Bozoma was pregnant with another daughter with her late husband, Peter Saint John, but during the second trimester, she developed preeclampsia and delivered her child stillborn. She shared her experience with the daughter she named Eve in her book, The Urgent Life: My Story of Love, Loss, and Survival.
Because of her previous pregnancy loss, Boz admitted she was wary of having another child. However, when she began dating her now-fiancé, Keely Watson, things changed, and the two decided to try for a child. During RHOBH Season 15, Episode 7, Boz underwent an egg retrieval surgery and successfully retrieved two eggs. In the Feb. 5 episode, she and Keely received an update from the doctor, but it wasn’t what they hoped to hear.
“We had two eggs. Both were successfully fertilized…unfortunately, neither has made it to the blastocyst stage,” fertility expert Dr. Cindy Duke shared with the couple.
Boz opened up about the heartbreaking news in a confessional. “I feel really overwhelmed. Right now, I can barely hear anything else beyond the roar in my ears that this hasn’t worked,” she told producers. “All of the hopes and dreams and aspirations that I had for these two little embryos—that I’d already started to picture who they were going to become—are gone. It feels like grief. It feels like losing a baby. Because that’s how I envisioned them. And so these aren’t just inanimate objects out in the world. These are Keely and I’s babies.”
Despite the setback, the couple agreed to continue trying and undergo another egg retrieval in the future.
