After a month-long social media break, Brock Davies returned to Instagram to declare himself officially “back.” The Vanderpump Rules alum told viewers he had used the hiatus to reflect on his “actions” and to find some kind of outlet that resonated with him.
“I started a few different things,” he said in an August 26 Reel. “I started playing the piano around the house, I threw myself into a few projects, and just tried to search for something that felt right. But through that process, I realized something: I was already doing what served me and my family best. I was building, creating, and sharing my content with you guys — the building content.”
Brock Davies reflects on the true “value” of his home renovation journey
Brock was referring to his “DIY Rescue” series, in which he showcased the upgrades to his and Scheana Shay’s Sherman Oaks home. The husband and wife — who share a 4-year-old daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies — purchased the property in 2024. Brock has since used his platform to document all of his incredible home upgrades, including a kitchen renovation, a back- and frontyard makeover, and a music studio installation.

“The series has always been more than DIY projects,” he continued. “It’s about quality time with my family, it’s about showing my daughter those little irreplaceable memories we make together. At the time, it’s about adding real value to my family. That’s why I love it and that’s why I’m back.”
Brock Davies teases what’s to come for his DIY series
The New Zealand native didn’t specify what he had up his sleeve, but said he was excited to take the DIY series “to another level.” He teased new projects, new builds, and, of course, more “fun.”
“My past does not define my future, OK?” he said. “It depends on what choices I make today. And moving forward, it’s going to be Brock the Builder… Let’s get back on this journey. We’re back, baby, and I cannot wait to build something amazing for you guys.”

Brock Davies says he’s “taking accountability for” cheating on Scheana Shay
Brock shared the update more than a month after addressing his 2020 extramarital affair. The incident was revealed in Scheana’s new memoir, My Good Side, in which she detailed Brock’s admission to infidelity. The Vanderpump Rules dad spoke about the brief “sexual affair” in a July 25 Instagram post, insisting he had owned up to his mistake and was fully committed to Scheana and their daughter.
“For the last two years, we have been privately doing the hard work of rebuilding what I broke,” he captioned the post, which included a letter addressed to Scheana. “You have seen me as a husband and a father, and that work will never stop. This moment is about publicly owning and taking accountability for my failures. Just to be clear, I am not going anywhere. I will continue to put the effort and time into being the best version of myself and the man our family deserves.”
