Bronwyn Newport of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is teasing a huge career move, but she isn’t revealing exactly what it is.
The Housewife recently visited Bravo HQ, teasing something exciting to come in the future. As she described it, “I had a couple of things that I really wanted to do when I was choosing to open my life up to Housewives, and one of them I just did.”
Bronwyn said the career move is “a secret,” but called it “a race, of sorts,” without getting too deep into the announcement.
Continuing to discuss other aspects of her career, Bronwyn added, “I have always loved fashion, and it’s been such an exciting opportunity for me that I’ve gotten to do red carpet coverage for The Emmys, The SAGs, and that’s something that I hope to keep doing in the future.”
“I’m happy to fight with the women on camera if I could also talk about fashion on different cameras,” she concluded with a laugh.

Details on Bronwyn Newport’s fashion-related career ventures
As Bronwyn mentioned, she’s recently done red carpet coverage for several awards shows. In February, she co-hosted the SAG Awards for People and Entertainment Weekly, calling it “a dream come true” at the time.”
For the ultra-glam affair, she wore a sweeping 1968 haute couture Dior originally designed for Maria Felix, as seen on Instagram.
Bronwyn also stunned at the 77th Primetime Emmy awards, walking the red carpet in a vintage, 1962 Richard Blackwell gown and feather boa. As the Housewife explained on Instagram, “Mr. Blackwell was a fashion designer aaaaand the creator of the first worst dressed list! I’m on the red carpet doing fashion commentary, so I had to be in the father of fashion commentary’s dress!”

In a Dec. 5 interview with Fashionista, the then-newcomer ’Wife explained what inspires her fashion-forward mission. “A big part of what I’m wearing is expressing who I am,” Bronwyn said.
However, when she was working in finance, a former boyfriend pointed out that when it came to dressing as others expected versus what she wanted, Bronwyn couldn’t have the best of both worlds. “But it spurred this idea in me, that I wanted to change the idea that dressing with color or in a novelty way should not reflect on my intelligence level or capability,” she continued. “It’s okay to wave whatever freak flag, polka dot flag, or rainbow flag you want.”
