Brooks Marks’ latest modeling gig is pretty major. The Next Gen NYC cast member appears in the pages of a major fashion magazine, where he not only posed for photos but also opened his personal life as well as what it was like launching his clothing brand as he gets ready to step into the spotlight in a major way.
Brooks’ Teen Vogue photoshoot also caught the attention of his mom, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Meredith Marks, who couldn’t help but gush about her son’s latest move. “My baby [Brooks] in [Teen Vigue]!!! Beyond proud, always!” she wrote on Instagram. “Watching you model since you were 7 has been such a gift. You amaze me every day. Love that he’s wearing [Meredith Marks jewelry brand] ice — the Nick Bangle in Sterling Silver with Black Diamonds!”
Brooks commented back, “Thank you mama!! The best most supportive mom I could ever dream of!!”
His dad, Seth Marks, showed his support by leaving heart emojis on Meredith’s post.
Books Marks’ clothing brand featured in his latest career move
Of course, Brooks, as a fashion designer, opted to include items from his eponymous clothing brand in the photoshoot. “Somebody tell him that he’s in [Teen Vogue]!! AND so is [Brooks Marks clothing brand]! Beyond grateful for this opportunity. Thank you!!!” he shared on Instagram.
Brooks founded the clothing line in 2020. He spoke with BravoTV.com at that time and reflected on his love for the fashion industry and creating clothes. “I would cut up my clothes and sew them together, sometimes even glue them together before I knew how to sew, and I would force [my sister] Chloe to put them on,” he shared at the time.
The line first started with track suits, but has expanded to include other items.
Inside Brooks Marks’ career as a model
In 2023, Meredith confirmed that Brooks had been signed to Ford Models. The announcement also highlighted that he modeled as a kid. “This is so full circle!! Beyond proud of [Brooks] for signing with [Ford Models]. Our whole family used to model with FORD… some of my favorite photos and memories from my children’s childhood,” she revealed in a post at the time. “Get ready for Brooks to re-enter the industry!!!”
Brooks also reflected on the big moment in a separate Instagram post he wrote at the time: “I’m SO excited to announce I signed with [Ford Models]. I modeled with Ford when I was a toddler and it’s so full circle to join their men’s board. Can’t wait for u to come on this journey with me.”
