It seems like Calah Jackson is throwing in the towel when it comes to her relationship with Steven McBee Jr. Although the exes were friendly after their split, things have taken a turn after their dramatic trip to the Ozarks.

In the above preview of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 2, Episode 6 (airing August 4), Calah moves out of Steven’s house, implying that the pair is ending things for good. Calah cries as she packs her items into boxes and prepares to leave Gallatin.

Calah sheds light on her big move in a confessional. “Everything that has happened at Lake of the Ozarks was really the final straw for me,” she tells a producer.

The video then shows a flashback to Season 2, Episode 5, when Cole McBee and Calah’s argument led to an explosive fight between her and Steven.

“I know that I have given Steven beyond the number of chances that I should have, and to be honest, I was really holding out hope that this weekend [in the Ozarks] would go well, and that we would maybe be able to reconnect, but after this, there’s no way,” Calah continues. “I feel like I’ve been s—t on so much, which is f—king crazy, given that I have literally sacrificed my life to be there with Steven to support him.”

Calah Jackson opens up about why she wanted to support Steven McBee Jr.

Calah then shifts her attention to the McBees’ legal battles. “I have so much dirt on this family. Steven [Jr.] told me that his father is being investigated by the FBI,” she explains.

Calah is referring to Steven McBee Sr.’s legal issues. The McBee patriarch pleaded guilty to one count of federal crop insurance fraud in November 2024, and, according to Calah, the whole affair had been pretty stressful for his eldest son.

“I’ve been the one that’s been helping him through all of this,” she adds. “He would cry to me every single day because he was so scared and stressed … like I know what it’s like to have family going through this whole legal process and so, I just wanted to stay and support him.”

Calah Jackson makes a damning declaration about Steven McBee Jr.

As Calah drives away from Steven Jr.’s house, she makes a bold statement about her ex-boyfriend in a confessional.

“It just feels like he never had my back the way I had his back,” she says through tears. “Just knowing that I would’ve supported him. I was willing to put myself through that for this guy who would not do the same for me.”

Inside Calah Jackson & Steven McBee Jr.’s argument at the Ozarks

As mentioned earlier, Calah’s “final straw” with Steven Jr. was their argument during a McBee family vacation to the Ozarks. The catastrophic argument, which happened in Episode 5, began when Calah declared that Steven Jr. and his brothers had it “easy” in life because of their family’s wealth.

Cole was deeply offended by the statement and came to his brother’s defense. “Steven has not had it easy,” he declared. “He’s had to deal with things at a younger age that he never should’ve dealt with.”

Later in the fight, the dad-to-be ranted about how Calah was treating Steven Jr. “If you knew what you were talking about you would be loving him and you wouldn’t be getting sent back to f—king Dallas where you f—king belong,” he declared.

After Cole angrily walked off, Calah asked why Steven Jr. didn’t defend her during the fight.

“I ain’t gonna f—king stick up for you,” he told her.

After their brief exchange, Calah went inside to finish her conversation with Cole. Steven Jr. stopped her from talking to him, and from there, the house descended into chaos as the ex-couple hashed it out. Steven Jr. claimed Calah wanted to “make things as bad as humanly possible” between her and the McBee family, while Calah brought up Steven Sr.’s FBI investigation, reminding him that “the truth will f–kin’ come out.”

The argument ended with Calah in tears before she packed up her things and left the Ozarks early.

We’ll have to wait till Season 2, Episode 6 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys to see how Steven Jr. feels about their fight. For now, see what Steven Jr. recently said about his relationship with Calah.
