Candiace Dillard Bassett is wrapping up the year with another update on her baby boy.
The Real Housewives of Potomac alum took to Instagram this week to share her family’s cute yet stylish Christmas photos. The snaps — taken by Antwon Maxwell — showed Candiace and her husband, Chris Bassett, sitting on a velvety sofa with their 1-year-old son, Jett Maxwell Lee Bassett.
“Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, & a very blessed season to you all!” she captioned the December 25 carousel. “May your homes be full, your hearts light, and your cocktails strong.”
Why Candiace Dillard Bassett conceals her son’s face online
Candiace used a Christmas tree and a red-heart emoji to conceal her toddler’s face, which she has yet to share on Instagram. Candiace explained her no-face policy in a March interview with People magazine, saying she was simply trying to protect her son’s privacy.
“My mom is always like, ‘When are you going to show the baby? He’s so cute, everybody needs to see the baby!’ ” Candiace recalled. “We will show him, obviously, eventually. But just for now, we’re just enjoying having him to ourselves. It’s been really beautiful just to keep him to ourselves.”

Candiace also posted videos of her family’s at-home Christmas celebration. She, of course, rang in the holiday with Chris and Jett, as well as her mom, Dorothy Watts, and sister, Crystal M. Watts.
“Merry Christmas, sister… Merry Christmas, mother!” she said in a December 25 Instagram Story. “Chris is prepping his prime rib, but he says, ‘Merry Christmas.’ And Jett says, ‘Merry Christmas,’ too!”

Candiace then took a few moments to show off Jett’s curly hair. She filmed a video of the toddler lying on her lap, as she ran her fingers through his locks.
“Look at these curls,” she said. “Poppin’, poppin’, poppin’. What a cute boy!”
Candiace went on to post footage of little Jett opening a few of his gifts, including some adorable onesies from Caden Laden. One of the pieces featured an all-over shark print, another had race car graphics, and a third had a surfing-dogs pattern.
“Thank you, Caden Lane. I can’t wait for him to wear these,” Candiace said while showing off the clothes. “These are super cute pajamas… I love this brand. They make amazing blankets, custom blankets, and super cute baby clothes.”
