Candiace Dillard-Bassett is skilled when it comes to juggling her career as a singer with being a mom to her 11-month-old son, Jett Maxwell Lee Bassett. The Real Housewives of Potomac alum has only been a mom for a little less than a year, but she is already handling her work-life balance with ease.
The mom of one took to Instagram over the weekend, where she gave a new look at how she gets stuff done. On Saturday, Sept. 20, Candiace sang “The Star Spangled Banner” at the Howard University football game, held at Audi Field in Washington D.C. She posted a video of her rehearsing on the field as she sang alongside Jett, who sat in his stroller and had a front-row seat to the performance.
She continued to post more photos of her and Jett as they watched the football game together. In one photo, Candiace can be seen holding Jett while making a kissing face toward the camera, and smiling for the camera while holding Jett in another photo.
“The cutest boyyyyy I ever did see,” she wrote over the photo, along with several heart eyes emojis.
It was certainly a successful day for Candiace as her alma mater, Howard University, won the football game against Hampton University, 34 to 7.
