Captain Kerry Titheradge is now sharing his honest thoughts about Solène Favreau after the conclusion of Below Deck Season 12. The stew only had a total of 58 days of experience working on yachts by the end of the charter season, which kept Kerry on his toes the entire time.
Kerry appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sept. 15, where he opened up about Solène’s work ethic and many hookups throughout the season. “She definitely improved,” he told host, Andy Cohen. “She improved, and then she didn’t improve. And then she got with [Kyle] Stillie again.”
He also gave Solène the award of “Court Jester” for the season, because of the humor that she brought to St. David. “She gets the Court Jester award,” he said, as seen in the video above. “Alright, she brought a lot of attitude, and even though she shouldn’t have, she made me laugh all season.”
Captain Kerry says Solène Favreau has “no self-awareness”
But, Kerry wasn’t laughing during Below Deck Season 12, Episode 14, when Solène confronted him. Earlier in the episode, Chief Stew Fraser Olender had spoken to bosun Hugo Ortega about not distracting Solène. When she found out about this, she spoke with Kerry and accused him of giving this order.
“My understanding is Fraser asked the deck crew to stop distracting you so you can do your job,” he told her during the episode. “Because he wants you to succeed in the job.”

Kerry opened up to Andy about this confrontation on Monday’s WWHL appearance. “Yeah, she had me on the back foot,” he admitted. “The problem with Solène is she has no filter. No self awareness. So, if I were to come down on her hard in that space, she probably wouldn’t have got it.”
“Yeah, a lot of people were upset by that,” he added.
How Solène Favreau ended Below Deck Season 12
Navigating the world of yachting was a little tricky for Solène, as she hooked up with crew members and figured out the job in the moment. But, she revealed at the end of the season that she planned to “continue yachting,” as she departed St. David on her own, without any romantic entanglements.
“I’m just very happy and very [thankful] to live all of this,” she declared at the end of Below Deck Season 12, Episode 16.
