Car of Interest Found Amid Search for Missing Bakery Worker – Crime Online

An SUV was found on Tuesday which matches the description of a vehicle sought in the case of a Massachusetts woman who vanished on Friday.

Joanne Brown, 30, told co-workers at Bean Counter Bakery Cafe that she had to leave due to an undisclosed personal matter. Brown has not been seen or heard from since — and WCVB reported that Worcester police investigators were seen in the parking lot outside Green Hill Towers, where residents said a car matching the description provided by police amid Brown’s disappearance.

According to the news outlet, the medical examiner’s van was also seen at the scene. The vehicle was reportedly placed under a white tent and inspected before it was towed away.

Police said there is a “heightened concern for her safety,” but they did not provide specifics.

Brown, who may be in the Holyoke or Springfield area, is possibly driving a 2025 gray Mitsubishi Outlander with Massachusetts license plate 5GPN93. She was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and having hazel eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts should call Worcester police at 508-799-8606.
