Carl Radke appeared to see the writing on the wall, as Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marital issues came to the forefront during the Summer House Season 10 premiere
During a one-on-one at their Hamptons share house, Ciara Miller pointed out that Kyle’s career pivot to DJ’ing had led to him “staying out all night” while “drinking” and “partying with random f–kin’ people.”
Carl, meanwhile, chimed in, “That’s the part that makes me nervous, just for him and [Amanda]. Like, four or five months ago, he was DJ’ing [on], like, a Thursday night at Penn State. And, like, you’re going to Penn State on a Thursday night? It just seems a little off.”

He elaborated in a confessional, “This other kind of life that he’s been leading the last 12 months, which is like DJ’ing and hosting these parties, isn’t aligned with what should be going on in his life, which is really committing to his wife, getting back to kind of a good foundation in his relationship, and planning for a future in that relationship.”
Roughly six months prior to Amanda and Kyle announcing their separation after four years of marriage in January 2026, Carl noticed that the couple seemed to be “drifting” apart as they lived in “parallel realities.” He insisted that he just wanted them to be happy, but said that Kyle’s behavior remained his primary concern at the time.Â
“If you’re just barreling down the highway a million miles an hour, this whole thing could blow up,” he told a producer. “And he’s gonna have nobody.”
Carl Radke reflected on his prediction about Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marriage
After Kyle and Amanda publicly confirmed their split several months later, Carl revisited his observations about their marriage in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish.
“I mean you always see difficulties in relationships,” Carl explained. “I’ve always rooted for them. I always wanted to be supportive. I know they love each other and care for each other, but sometimes that’s not enough.”

He continued, “I think, over time, seeing just how out of sync that they were, it was almost like they were in this kind of trapped situation. It was like a tough thing. It feels like there’s an air lifted out of them now that they’ve been able to kind of collectively come together and share what they’ve shared.”
On that note, Carl applauded Kyle and Amanda for their candor on Summer House.
“My hat goes off to them,” he added. “They put it all out there for literally every season for 10Â years. And it’s not easy when you have a microscope on your relationship.”
Carl Radke revealed his reaction to Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s split
Carl also said that he was “sad” when the news of Kyle and Amanda’s separation broke in recent weeks.Â
“I love them both a lot,” he remarked. “I had the pleasure and honor of officiating the wedding. I was Kyle’s best man. I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs with them and just so supportive. … I wanted what’s best for them and I know they’ve been going through it, so my heart goes out to both of them, especially Amanda. It’s not easy at all.”
In fact, Carl had just been with both Kyle and Amanda, just one day prior to his interview with The Daily Dish.
“The vibes were positive, and they’re doing the best they can,” he recalled. “We’re rallying around the both of them, but I know over the next few months, it’s not gonna get any easier, I don’t think, just ’cause, you know, you’re gonna see stuff I think from the summer that people are gonna have, you know, opinions on or things to say.”
Carl concluded, “I hope it’s an opportunity for Kyle to heal and Amanda to heal, maybe learn a little bit, and grow. I hope they can be best friends. And I think we’re seeing little glimpses of the friendship, which made us all smile yesterday, just seeing them laughing a little bit and kind of keeping it light.”
Ciara Miller’s perspective on Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s relationship issues
Prior to her aforementioned talk with Carl, Ciara kicked off Summer House Season 10 by making no secrets about whose side she was on, amid Amanda and Kyle’s mounting conflicts.
“Kyle is my friend, but I don’t like when I hear things from Amanda about how she’s being treated,” Ciara admitted to a producer during the Feb. 3 episode. “And then I have to sit there and smile and giggle in your face, knowing these things. But I can’t get involved, because it’s not my marriage.”
That didn’t stop her from pointing out to Amanda that she “should be f–kin’ pissed” about Kyle’s late nights DJ’ing, however. Like Carl, Ciara also expressed her concerns about their relationship, as Amanda opened up about a new cheating rumor that had surfaced.
As Ciara put it to Amanda during a heart-to-heart in her bed, “I just am, like, worried for you, because you didn’t sign up to be with a f–kin’ DJ.”
