Carl Radke says he and Venita Aspen are in the “exploring” phase. The Summer House cast member addressed the relationship during a recent interview with The Daily Dish, confirming he and the Southern Charm-er recently reconnected across the pond.
“We were in London for a Bravo trip,” he said, referring to Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll. “[Venita] was there, which was fun. No, I mean it. It’s been friendly and fun. I know a lot of people are talking about it.”’
The pair sparked romance rumors back in November, when Carl revealed he was “open” to dating a fellow Bravoleb.
“Well, I had a great time hanging out with Venita yesterday,” he said on a BravoCon 2025 panel. “Venita is beautiful; she’s really cool.”

However, Carl clarified that he and Venita went back much further than November 2025, as she’s been connected to the Summer House cast for quite some time.

“I’ve known Venita a little bit since, I think, Season 6 of Summer House (2022),” he said. “She’s friends with Ciara [Miller]. She’s come, actually, to the summer house a couple times. Back then, I didn’t really know her that well, other than, ‘Hey, you’re Venita. What’s up?’
“And then, I’d say, over the last two years, I’ve gotten to see her at some different Bravo events, [like] BravoCon this past fall,” he continued. “We had a fun interaction in the green room. And she’s gorgeous. She’s a sweet girl. She’s awesome. We have a lot of commonality.”

Needless to say, the BravoCon interaction went pretty well, so much so that it inspired Carl to ask Venita out. The Charleston-based influencer accepted the invitation and connected with Carl shortly after in New York City.
“It was awesome,” Carl said about his date night with Venita. “We had a lot of fun.”
The pair kicked off the night at Carl’s non-alcoholic bar, Soft Bar + Cafe, in Brooklyn and then made their way to a nearby Mexican restaurant. Carl said he and Venita had plenty to talk about because there was so much history between their respective shows and castmates.
“We spent, like, five hours talking about all sorts of things,” he recalled. “Since then, you know, we’ve kept in touch. I’m rooting for her.”

Carl suggested he and Venita hadn’t seen much of each other since November, as they’ve both been busy over the last couple of months.
“She’s got a lot going on. I’ve had a ton happening,” he explained. “So since, like, mid-November, you know, we went on that date, I’ve seen her twice now.”

Carl went on to reiterate his fondness for Venita, but pointed out that their long distance makes it difficult to have consistent face-to-face interactions.
“She’s an amazing person, but I live in New York; she lives in Charleston,” he said. “So it’s still very like… exploring and friendly.”
