Carl Radke was immediately drawn to Bailey Taylor. The Summer House cast member addressed the “flirty” dynamic during a recent interview with The Daily Dish, saying he appreciated how open and honest Bailey was during the first Season 10 dinner.
“Bailey’s awesome. She’s gorgeous,” Carl gushed. “We had some fun. You’ll see some of the flirty vibes.”

Although he told The Daily Dish he always enjoys meeting new cast members, there was something between him and Bailey that caused them to instantly click.
“Bailey and I have… there’s like a similar frequency that we’re on,” he explained. “And I’m not always on that same frequency with a lot of people, but she’s very in touch with her emotions, and she has a vulnerable side to her. And I think you can see at one of the first dinners.”

Bailey Taylor shares her emotional breakup story
Carl was referring to an emotional moment in the Season 10 premiere, when Bailey spoke candidly about her difficult breakup. The Summer House newbie told the cast she had been in a “super toxic relationship” that ended at a popular salad chain.
“He cheated on me and broke up with me at Sweetgreen,” Bailey said before she began crying. “He told me to meet him at Sweetgreen when I got done at the gym… I remember my salad spilling everywhere.”

Carl told The Daily Dish he admired Bailey’s transparency and willingness to be so open with a group she just met.
“When people open up, especially in our house, it draws me in,” he said. “You know, if you’ve been through some things or you’ve had a difficult time, I’m not saying I love it, but I appreciate it when people are willing to share and open up more about the difficulties in their lives or the challenges that they have. And Bailey was very open with me. I was open with her. So, yeah. So, that’s Bailey. You’ll see more. I don’t want to give away too much.”

Bailey dished on her relationship with Carl during a recent sitdown with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, specifically addressing their steamy kiss shown in the Summer House Season 10 trailer.
“He’s a great kisser. I saw him yesterday. I love him,” she told the hosts. “It’s just… It’s a vibe. I love him. I adore him. He’s a little bit older than me. I’m totally fine with an age gap.”

When it came to a relationship, Bailey acknowledged that she and Carl weren’t “necessarily” looking for the same things; however, she insisted they had serious chemistry.
“I love Carl. He’s so sweet and just amazing to me, from the second I met him,” she continued. “I’ve lived a lot of life, too. Him and I, from the second we met, just opened up so much. He would tell me so much, and I would tell him so much. You’ll see. We’re just always off in a corner together. I’m running to talk to him, and we’re having these really long conversations together… We just click. Even if the whole group is together now, him and I just disappear off. We can just talk.”
