She’s back! It’s been confirmed that Carole Radziwill is returning to The Real Housewives of New York City as a friend of the group for the upcoming Season 16.
Carole first joined RHONY back in Season 5, where she took viewers inside her chic, artistic life as a writer while navigating dramatic friendship ups and downs as well as romantic highs and lows. The downtown NYC resident also famously declared that she had only “five good summers left,” though she’s hardly slowed down in the years since she made that statement.Â
Carole stepped away from RHONY in July 2018, making Season 10 the last time she appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Her return to RHONY comes months after she dipped her toes back in the Bravo pond. Carole, of course, made her return to the Bravo Clubhouse and appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in August 2025. After that, Carole also stopped by BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas in November 2025. When taking the stage at BravoCon 2025, she shared that “it’s been great” to be back in the Bravoverse again after several years away.
Why did Carole Radziwill leave RHONY?
In July 2018, Carole opened up about her exit from RHONY.  “After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best —  journalism and producing. I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament,” she said. “I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind. I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next.”

What does Carole Radziwill do today?
Since her time in RHONY and ahead of her return to the show, Carole has been keeping busy in her career across the entertainment industry and keeping her bylines fresh. She launched a Substack in 2025 where she reveals more looks inside her life. “It’s sort of like my life with Carole Radziwill, and a lot of unpublished work I’m gonna put up there,” she said on WWHL last year. “I like interacting with the fans, and the Bravo fans are so incredible, even all these years later…and so I want to give them something to read and think about.”
