Casse, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘Amicably’ Settle Lawsuit Alleging Rape, Sex Trafficking a Day After It’s Filed – Crime Online

A day after filing a multi-million lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging beatings and sexual abuse by the hip hop mogul, singer Cassie announced that she had settled the lawsuit.

The two reached a deal “to their mutual satisfaction” Friday evening, attorney Douglas Wigdor — representing Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura — said in a statement. He did not provide any details about the agreement.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Ventura said in a statement. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

In a statement of his own, Combs — also known as P. Diddy and Puff Daddy — also said the parties “have decided to resolve this matter amicably.”

“I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love,” he said.

Combs’ attorney, who on Thursday said that Combs “vehemently denies” Ventura’s allegations that he subjected her to a pattern of abuse that included rape and sex trafficking throughtout their relationship, did not comment after the agreement was announced.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Wigdor said that his client rejected an eight-figure offer from Combs to not file the lawsuit.
