Ciara Miller is opening up about how being a Girl Scout changed her life. The Summer House cast member is a model, red carpet host, nurse, and social media influencer. But, before all of this, Ciara was a Girl Scout in Georgia.
Ciara took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she recounted her memories as a Girl Scout when she was growing up. “I grew up a Girl Scout,” she wrote. “It’s where I first learned what sisterhood looks like, it taught me courage, confidence, and how to carry myself through hard things.”
She then asked her Instagram followers to help her support Troop 6000, a Girl Scout troop in NYC designed to “serve families living in temporary housing in the New York City shelter system.” “They meet every week, earn badges, go to camp, and learn that no matter what they’re going through, they are worth showing up for. That who they are matters. That their story is just getting started. That’s all I’ve ever wanted anyone to feel,” she wrote, before shouting out her own Girl Scout troop 2031.
Ciara Miller opens up about her childhood in Georgia
Ciara had previously opened up about her childhood as a Girl Scout in Georgia during a May 2024 appearance on the podcast, Taste of Taylor. “I grew up in the Girl Scouts and going camping, and like my troop leader, she was an artist, and she was just like, so artsy, opposite of from my mom, but we would go camping,” she explained during the episode.
Ciara also admitted during the episode that she was able to make friends through her troop. “When I was a senior, I dual enrolled to, like, get out of the high school scene, because everything, I grew up in like, East Cobb, Marietta, it’s like very cliquey. But also predominantly white, and I didn’t quite, people probably couldn’t relate, but I grew up in that area and was there from K through 12. So I grew up with these people,” she explained. “There are a few girls, like my Girl Scout troop, like we all went through K through 12 together. Like, they were obviously my friends, but we’ve all moved on in different areas of my life.”

Ciara Miller reveals why she bought her grandparents’ house in North Carolina
Ciara had previously opened up about her childhood during Summer House Season 10, Episode 9, where she revealed that she had purchased her grandparents’ house in North Carolina. During a confessional, Ciara explained why buying the house from her dad and his siblings meant so much to her. “Growing up, once my parents got divorced, we probably lived in like five different houses from kindergarten to high school,” she shared.
“My grandparents always just had that one house. My grandfather built this house. It’s where my dad and his siblings grew up,” she noted. “The holidays were spent there. This is definitely the house that raised me.”
“It’s just a way of me honoring all of my grandparents’ hard work, and the sacrifice that they went through to even have a home, and build a home for their family, and I hope to be able to have that with my family one day,” she added.
