Cynthia Bailey is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend, musician LePrince. But The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 friend had some difficulty dating following her 2022 divorce from her ex-husband, Mike Hill.
In The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show video above, Cynthia opened up about how she took some time for herself after her divorce, instead of jumping into dating. “I took a beat,” she said in the video above. “I definitely took a beat.”
“I looked inward, and I definitely threw myself into my career, I threw myself into the acting,” she continued. “And literally all I did was work for the first year after my second divorce.”

Cynthia and her beau most recently made a red carpet appearance in early May at the Alzheimer’s Association Magic of Music Gala. The couple was there to celebrate Cynthia’s podcast co-host, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Crystal Kung Minkoff, who spoke at the gala and received an award there.
Cynthia opened up about this appearance on a May 12 episode of their podcast, Humble Brag with Crystal and Cynthia, noting that there was “beauty and freedom” to them “being outside together.”
“Like it feels good to just be outside and be comfortable, and not, like, people know, even though there’s not a million photos of us out there, because we still intentionally do not post on Instagram with each other,” she admitted.Â
“I will never get used to the fact that people actually care about who I date,” she added.
Cynthia Bailey says boyfriend, LePrince, is “like a freaking magnet”
She continued during the podcast episode, noting that LePrince had a great time at the gala. “He’s like a freaking magnet,” she said. “I don’t know if it’s the hat he loves to wear, if it’s the long dreads, but people just literally come up to him everywhere I take him and start talking to him…he looks interesting.”
“Like, if I didn’t know him and if I wasn’t dating him, I think if I saw him at that event, I would be like, ‘Who’s that? Who’s that tall guy with the hat on with the long dreads?'” she noted.

LePrince is a 39-year-old “Reggaetronic Hard Dance musician,” according to Cynthia, who is based in Amsterdam. Although both he and Cynthia are in the public eye, she likes to keep their relationship a little private (aside from the occasional red carpet or gala appearance).
“We’ve traveled a lot together, including my trips to Amsterdam and Switzerland to see him perform,” she told People in March. “We’re happy and excited to see where our relationship goes!”

Cynthia and LePrince’s relationship started in her Instagram DMs. “Well, we actually saw each other for the first time at an event in LA, and we didn’t talk,” she admitted to Us Weekly at Bravo Fan Fest in November 2024. “But he did slide into my DMs a couple of days later, and it worked.”

Cynthia and LePrince have been dating since early 2024, which she confirmed during an August 2024 appearance on Jeff Lewis Live. “I met someone who lives in Amsterdam, but he comes to visit me a lot, and it’s been four consistent months, and I really like him,” she said.

Throughout their relationship, Cynthia has been open about the fact that LePrince is just a bit younger than her. “I wasn’t looking for a young guy. He found me,” she said during a panel at Bravo Fan Fest.
“You know, dating is really not easy, especially at my point in life,” she told Us Weekly at the event. “I am, you know, a little up there, [a] woman of a certain age, but I will say that I just said to God, ‘Send me my person.’ I didn’t give him a list or anything, and [LePrince] showed up, and it’s been almost eight months now, and I’m really happy.”

LePrince already has the seal of approval from Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle Robinson, who she shares with her ex, Leon Robinson. Cynthia told The Daily Dish earlier this year that Noelle likes him “a lot.”
“I’m really happy about that because Noelle is my lifetime partner,” she said. “She has to like the other partner I choose in my life…There has to be a lot of respect between them because Noelle is not going anywhere.”
“I always want her to be excited and comfortable about whoever I choose to have in my life,” she continued. “So it’s great.”
Does Cynthia Bailey want to get married again?
It isn’t out of the question. In a September 2023 interview with People, before she met LePrince, Cynthia stated that a third marriage is certainly possible for her.
“I just want my person and that’s it,” she said. “Now, if we end up getting married, then that’s what it is, but that’s not my focus…I’m actually down to earth and excited to meet my person.”
