The Washington man accused of allegedly murdering his three young daughters may have changed his appearance since he was last seen.

In an update on Tuesday, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office advised that 32-year-old Travis Decker could have altered his appearance since he was last seen before he allegedly killed his daughters, 9-year-old Paityn, 8-year-old Evelyn, and 5-year-old Olivia. While the manhunt for Decker continues, several agencies have joined the search, including the neighboring Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.

As part of their update, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office provided a digital rendering of what Decker may look like after going off the grid. He was last seen on May 30 when he picked up his daughters for a scheduled visitation and never brought them back to their mother. All three girls were found dead on June 2 near a campground, not far from Decker’s vehicle.

The medical examiner ruled that the cause of death for all three girls was suffocation; the manner of death was homicide.

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office also clarified that a TikTok video purportedly claiming that Decker had been taken into custody after a standoff with police was not authentic.

“To be clear, Mr. Decker is not in custody and CCSO had no part in making the video,” the sheriff’s office said.
