Wendy Osefo’s friendship with Stacey Rusch had entered some seriously rocky terrain by the end of The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Colorado trip.
After underscoring all of the times that she’d gone to bat for Stacey amid drama involving Jassi Rideaux’s wedding during Season 10, Episode 16 (more on that below), Wendy revealed on The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show if she had any regrets about having her castmate’s back.
“No, I don’t regret having Stacey’s back because Stacey’s my friend,” she told a producer. “Stacey has been a good friend to me, and it was a very hard position for me to be in.”
Wendy went on to explain her decision to ultimately call out Stacey’s behavior and declare that Jassi was “in the right” amid their beef.
“I’m seeing two of my friends who are trying to get to an understanding of what went wrong,” she elaborated, while seated next to Stacey on the RHOP After Show. “And when I felt as though my back was up against the wall and I held the key, for lack of a better word, to the door of truth, that’s when I … had to just say what I had to say.”

Stacey, meanwhile, credited Wendy on the After Show with convincing her to attend Jassi’s wedding.
“After our conversation, I rearranged the latter part of my week and I made the trip,” Stacey recalled to Wendy. “What changed was you. You called me and pulled my coat and said, ‘No, girl, we need to support her.’ And that’s exactly what I did. Thank you.”
After Wendy replied, “That’s what friends do,” Stacey further detailed how the resolution of that specific conflict was actually indicative of their dynamic in general.Â

“When we talk about you and you expressing your need for me to come clean and tell the truth and say what it is, I love you for that, Wendy,” Stacey continued. “I think that sometimes we have friends that placate us and friends that say, ‘You’re amazing! I love everything that you do.’ And, you know, everything is golden. You’re not that type of friend.”
Wendy, meanwhile, added a “caveat” and revealed that she was “PMS’ing” on the Colorado trip. “And that’s why I lost my stuff, but, um, yeah,” she clarified.
As Stacey joked, “Girl, don’t blame it on the PMS.”

While unsuccessfully attempting to navigate to the exclusive fly-fishing experience that trip host Angel Massie had planned for their final day in Colorado, Stacey confronted Jassi about striking up a friendship with her frenemy Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.
Jassi, meanwhile, put the ball back in Stacey’s court, accusing her of only agreeing to attend to her wedding to Darius Harris after she found out that Wendy and Ashley Darby were flying to Texas for the nuptials.
As Stacey denied Jassi’s version of events, Wendy entered the conversation to call Stacey out for not telling the “truth.” That’s when Wendy detailed the phone call that she made to Stacey to talk her into attending Jassi’s wedding ceremony.
Once the trio rendezvoused with some of the other ladies outside a gas station and began recapping the drama, Wendy called out Stacey again for starting the argument with Jassi in the vehicle by bringing up Charrisse. That eventually caused Stacey to become upset and walk away from the group.
“Wendy and I have grown close. We are true friends,” Stacey said in a confessional. “So, to see her challenging me in this way is like a dagger to my heart. It’s just too much.”Â
More drama ensued as they debated whether or not Wendy had been a good friend and had Stacey’s back with the other ladies all season, but the two eventually made peace and hugged it out.
As Wendy concluded to a producer, “I love Stacey. Stacey is my friend. I just want her to be able to be confident standing in her truth, whatever that may be.”
