Dorinda Medley’s polarizing fish room has “officially” been taken over.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared the update on Sunday, August 10, while hosting some friends at Blue Stone Manor, her iconic 11,000-square-foot estate in the Berkshires. Dorinda snapped a photo from the infamous guest room, capturing a small group of dogs lying on the bed. She confirmed that one of the pooches was her Cavapoo, Parsley, and the other two belonged to her good pals, Greg Calejo and Andrea Kerzner.
“Fishroom Now Officially ‘Dog Room,’” she captioned the Story.
Dorinda Medley’s shark mounts cause drama with Luann de Lesseps
Fans got their first glimpse at the fish room in RHONY Season 11, Episode 5, which followed the cast’s overnight stay at Dorinda’s Tudor-style mansion. The space received its name because of its heavy aquatic vibes anchored by a blue-and-green color scheme and large fish mounts that some of the Housewives found unappealing. It also caused some tensions between Dorinda and RHONY alum Luann de Lesseps, who became upset after learning she had been assigned to sleep in the fish room.

“Don’t tell me I’m in the fish room,” Luann said in the episode. “If I’m in the fish room, I’m gonna freak out… The walls are green and it’s navy blue bed covers; it’s like for a boy who’s 14.”
RHONY alum Ramona Singer agreed.
“Who wants to wake up with a big fish?” she asked. “You feel like you’re being punished if you stay in that room!”
Dorinda defended the space in the follow-up episode titled “Sleeping With the Fishes,” saying the room was nice and very expensive.
“It’s insulting because that room’s beautiful,” she said. “Clearly, Luann’s been speaking to Barbara [Kavovit], and now Luann’s little puppet is repeating verbatim what she thinks of my $250,000 fish room. Who cares?”

“I’m so overwhelmed because I have to deal with so many moving parts all day, every day,” she said. “I’m trying to get everything done, and I’m stressed out all the time.”
As part of the renovation, the fish room was upgraded with navy geometric wallpaper, neutral drapes, new sconces, and nightstands. The sleek changes provided a good balance to the eccentric fish mounts.
