Dorit Kemsley had a few things to get off her chest amid claims that she is “intimidated” by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate Amanda Frances.
Amanda’s fiancé, Eddie Tsivislavsky, privately made the comment during Season 15, Episode 10, prompting her to get in a few digs of her own amid her feud with Dorit. “I’m young and successful, and I’m not financially dependent on a man,” Amanda vented. “And she outsourced her financial well-being to a man, and it didn’t go well.”
By the time the above clip from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show was filmed, Dorit had caught wind of the couple’s conversation regarding her financial arrangement with estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley — and she didn’t hold back in her response.
After opining that Eddie “was probably just trying to get laid,” Dorit added, “I outsourced my financial well-being? OK, but first of all, you know that that’s not true. I am a businesswoman. I’ve started, built, ran companies. When I met PK, I had my own company. PK had just filed for bankruptcy. PK did not have a dime when I met him.”

And, yes, she had a theory as to why Amanda would make such an accusation in the first place.
“If I had to think about it, maybe she’s a little jealous, period,” Dorit declared, referencing her self-confidence.
“I’m going through a really s–t time, [but] I still can be a girls’ girl,” she elaborated. “I can still depend on women, be transparent, be open, be honest. I mean, I’m supporting myself and my children. And I don’t need to tear other women down to feel better about myself. … A woman that has to do that, to me, I feel like it’s because they’re jealous.”
Amanda Frances doubles down on her financial comments about Dorit Kemsley
In a separate solo appearance on the RHOBH After Show, Amanda defended her diss about Dorit.
“I do think outsourcing your financial well-being to any human besides you is not a good plan,” she insisted. “I do not think women should turn a blind eye to anything that is important in their life, including finances, absolutely not. Do I think that made her intimidated? I don’t know.”
As Amanda recalled, Dorit had specifically told her during their lunch with Bozoma Saint John earlier in the season that she let PK “handle finances” and “wasn’t involved in” managing their money or investment accounts at all during their marriage.

“Not knowing what’s going on with your money is a bad place to be,” Amanda continued. “Yeah, I would call that outsourcing financial well-being.”
Amanda also questioned Dorit’s so-called “skepticism” around her “really happy” family life: “Like, what is that about, to assume that someone’s life can’t be good and they can’t actually be happy? Isn’t that a bizarre take?”
What sparked Dorit Kemsley and Amanda Frances’ feud on RHOBH
The drama between Dorit and Amanda is only the latest in their ongoing feud, which unexpectedly sparked earlier on Season 15. After Sutton Stracke informed Dorit that Amanda had made disapproving remarks about how she was publicly speaking about PK amid their ongoing divorce, a heated confrontation ensued during Rachel Zoe’s dinner party.
What Dorit did not initially know at the time, however, was that she was confronting Amanda on the anniversary of her newborn son’s death, and their budding friendship never recovered.
Most recently, some of the other women entered the fray and accused Amanda of deflecting blame for her comments about Dorit and PK’s divorce onto Kyle Richards. In doing so, at least as they saw it, Amanda had reignited a rift between Dorit and Kyle.
Amanda, for her part, denied playing a role in their drama. As she explained to Eddie during RHOBH‘s Feb. 19 episode, “Kyle had a really strong opinion about Dorit talking about her ex. I had a moment where I said, like, one thing about it at one dinner party.”
She added in a confessional, “What does Dorit care about my opinion? If she’s sure that this is her path and that this is what she wants to do, who the f–k cares? Go down your path. Do your thing. F–k up your life. Whatever.”
Meanwhile, during a trip to the Hamptons, Rachel mentioned how Amanda invited everyone except Dorit to a dinner party while they were away. Dorit’s response? “I literally care more about a f–kin’ hangnail than I do about that.”
