Dorit Kemsley’s already strained friendship with Kyle Richards suffered even more collateral damage amid her contentious divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The conflict involving disapproving comments Kyle made to Amanda Frances about Dorit’s post-split criticism of PK reached a boiling point during Season 15, Episode 8 (more on that below). Even so, Dorit still had more to get off her chest on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show — and she didn’t hold back, either.
“It was already annoying to hear Kyle, when I’m not even there, saying her opinion that I shouldn’t be talking about or bashing the father of my children,” Dorit vented to Bozoma Saint John. “What the f–k is wrong with you? Like, honestly, what the f–k is wrong with you? Truly.”

Dorit went on to explain that she ultimately had a “problem” with Kyle behaving so differently from the way she “would expect a friend to behave,” in that particular situation.
“Kyle claims to care about my kids and so on,” she continued, referring to Jagger and Phoenix. “She also talks like she knows PK, like she knows the ins and outs. Which, PK is a brilliant storyteller, and I know Kyle. I know the kind of friend Kyle is.”

Separately on the RHOBH After Show, Kyle doubled down on her criticism of Dorit speaking negatively about PK as their divorce plays out in the courts.
“I feel like most people would agree with what I was saying,” Kyle stated. “In fact, the entire group agreed with what I was saying. There was nobody that could hear this and say, ‘It actually is a good idea to talk like this, because this will actually help you in the future.'”

Kyle had said as much to Dorit directly during RHOBH‘s Feb. 5 episode, too.
“I only had concerns because I don’t want it to be more complicated for you later, because I care about you,” Kyle claimed during Dorit and Erika Jayne’s joint birthday dinner. “This is not bashing you or talking bad about you behind your back. It’s literally because you don’t want to create more problems for yourself.”
Plus, Kyle defiantly questioned why Dorit did not seem to “re-mem-ber” that she had privately voiced her concerns to her one-on-one, prior to discussing them with anyone else.

Despite Kyle’s explanation about wanting to “protect” her, Dorit said she still couldn’t figure out why her friend was “having such a difficult time understanding” her reasons for candidly venting to her and the other ladies about everything she was “going through” with PK.
After all, as Dorit saw it, PK was doing the same thing with his closest friends, including Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
When Kyle insisted that she didn’t know “what PK’s doing,” Dorit countered, “You know exactly what PK’s doing, Kyle, because you speak to Mau, and Mau speaks to PK. You know exactly what PK is saying, so don’t pretend that you don’t. Is he protecting me?”
After blasting Dorit for not letting her get a word in amid their intense back and forth, Kyle responded, “I only know Mau is saying that PK is saying completely opposite things from what you’re saying, OK? … If I didn’t care about you, if I didn’t like you, I’d let you f–kin’ bury yourself. I don’t care.”
In a confessional, Kyle further remarked, “Dorit is completely blinded to any help or advice that I want to offer as her friend right now. And I don’t know if there’s a way to get back on track until she’s in a better place. I don’t think she’s open to that. I think she’s too angry right now, with everything.”
Dorit, for her part, declared to a producer, “I came into this year and truly believed that Kyle and I were going to rebuild our friendship. But her actions and her words are telling me something totally different. And until she starts showing up as an actual friend who supports me, I can’t continue to play this game of fake f–king friends.”Â
