Married to Medicine cast member Dr. Jackie Walters is booked and busy. She’s not only flourishing in her thriving medical practice, but she continues to find new ways to grow her brand while also remaining a voice for women’s health issues.Â
Dr. Jackie recently spoke to The Daily Dish, via email, where she spilled about all the exciting updates on her personal and professional life since Married to Medicine Season 11 wrapped up, including her new scrubs line, DUES, as well as her recent cameo on Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami alongside Guerdy Abraira.Â
But that’s not all the good doctor is up to these days, and here’s what she exclusively shared with The Daily Dish.
Dr. Jackie Walters explains her new scrubs line, DUES
The Daily Dish:Â Congrats on DUES. Why did you feel like now was the right time to launch a scrubs line?
Dr. Jackie Walters: Thank you so much. Honestly, the idea had been on my mind for quite some time. I’ve spent years in scrubs, and I’ve seen firsthand how the uniform can impact how you feel walking into a patient’s room — or into your next big opportunity. Now felt like the right time to reimagine what that could look like: to offer something that’s functional, beautiful, and affirming for the professionals who give so much of themselves every day.
Â
The Daily Dish:Â What did you know you needed to do to make the best scrubs out there for medical professionals?
Dr. Jackie: I knew they had to do it all — fit well, feel good, and perform under pressure. I wanted fabric that moved with you, silhouettes that flattered all bodies, and details that made wearers feel seen. I leaned into feedback from my peers and really focused on the everyday needs of the modern professional — from early rounds to late nights.Â
The Daily Dish:Â Tell us about the importance of the price point for the pieces in the line?
Dr. Jackie:  That was a big conversation between myself and the other co-founders, Dr. Ebony Hilton and Deanna Hamilton. DUES is a premium line — but it’s not just about price, it’s about value. We wanted to deliver high-quality design, comfort, and longevity because professionals deserve to invest in themselves the way they invest in others. It’s not fast fashion. It’s built to last — and built to empower.
Â
The Daily Dish:Â Do you have any favorite pieces?
Dr. Jackie: I do — and it’s hard to choose, but the Ebony Scrub Jumpsuit is definitely a standout. It’s effortlessly chic, incredibly comfortable, and makes a statement without saying a word. When I want a full set, I love the Jackie Scrub Top paired with the Mache Joggers — it’s a look that feels modern, polished, and powerful, whether you’re at the hospital or heading into a meeting.
Â
The Daily Dish:Â Do you have a favorite way you like to style your scrubs?
Dr. Jackie: Oh, absolutely. I’m all about polished ease. I love pairing the scrubs with a statement sneaker and a bold pair of eyeglass frames — keeping it simple but intentional. Confidence is always in style!
Â
The Daily Dish:Â Where do you see taking this brand next and what are your larger plans for DUES?
Dr. Jackie: DUES is just getting started. Our goal is to grow it beyond scrubs — into a full lifestyle brand that celebrates and supports professionals in every part of their journey. Because it’s not just about what you wear — it’s about how you show up, how you feel, and how you thrive.
Dr. Jackie Walters opens up about her bond with Guerdy Abraira & RHOM Season 7
The Daily Dish: We see you make a cameo on RHOM [this season] via FaceTime, catching up with Guerdy about her cancer journey — tell us more about your friendship?
Dr. Jackie: I first connected with Guerdy through our shared Bravo family — we’re both under the same production company, Purveyors of Pop. I knew of her fabulous style, big personality, and presence on The Real Housewives of Miami, but it wasn’t until I heard about her breast cancer diagnosis that I really felt called to reach out.
As a two-time breast cancer survivor myself, I understood how overwhelming that news can be — physically, emotionally, spiritually. I saw a sister who was strong and bold on the outside, but walking into a fight that can shake even the fiercest of us. So I reached out, not as Dr. Jackie from TV, but as a Black woman who had walked through the fire and come out on the other side TWICE. I wanted her to know she didn’t have to walk it alone.
We instantly clicked! Guerdy is fun, she’s sassy, she’s wildly fashionable, and she’s full of life. Our bond was built not just on shared experiences in television, but on shared strength, shared stories, and the unspoken connection between women who understand what it means to fight for their health while the world is watching.

The Daily Dish:Â How important is it for these kinds of stories to be shared on shows like The Real Housewives?
Dr. Jackie: It’s so important that stories like this are shared on shows like Married to Medicine and The Real Housewives, where people might not expect to see something so raw and real. Yes, we love the glam, the fashion, the fun but we’re also real women, going through real things. Breast cancer doesn’t care how many followers you have or what zip code you live in.  It knows no race, geographical location, socioeconomic status, status.
When I reached out to Guerdy, it wasn’t about TV; it was about sisterhood. It was about showing up for another Black woman in a moment where she needed to be reminded of her power, even when she didn’t feel it.
Sharing these kinds of stories matters because it reminds women watching that they’re not alone….That you can be scared and still be strong.  It shows you can fight for your life and still wear heels doing it.  If one woman sees our journey and goes to get her mammogram or finally listens to her body that gives impact to us sharing. That our pain has purpose.
Dr. Jackie shares life and marriage updates after Married to Medicine Season 11
The Daily Dish:Â We’d love the latest updates on your skincare products!
Dr. Jackie:Â Â After speaking with my patients in the office, it became apparent that I needed to create a cleanser for hormonal skin to accompany my Volition Skin Rhythm Serum. Â So last year, I launched the Volition Skin Rhythm Balancing & Clearing Cleanser with Niacinamide + Salicylic Acid. It’s a foaming cream formula designed to tackle head-on excess sebum production, stubborn blemishes, and extreme dry patches. It’s the first step in your skincare regimen to help control how hormonal fluctuations affect your skin. Both products are available on volitionbeauty.com, Ulta.com, Amazon.com. Right now, I’m working on expanding the line into body care. Stay tuned for that!
The Daily Dish: You recently turned 62 — how does this decade of your life feel? What’s still on the life to-do list?
Dr. Jackie: OMG!!! 62 feels good! And I’m not afraid to say 62 even though the Internet probably has me at about 66 this year! I’m grateful, I’m grounded, and I’m finally giving myself permission to just be. This chapter of my life is about peace, joy, and doing what truly feeds my soul and spirit. I’ve spent so many years taking care of everybody else, my patients, family, friends, but now I’m learning how to pour back into me without guilt.
The Daily Dish:Â We’d love to hear updates on your marriage and how [your husband]Â Curtis [Berry]Â is doing. What did he get you for your birthday?
Dr. Jackie: Curtis is doing well!  We are in a really good place. We are starting to live and connect in new ways that feel fun and fresh. After everything we’ve been through, we’re learning how to enjoy each other again, not just as husband and wife, but as friends, partners, and now as business partners too. We’ve started a couple of ventures together, and it’s actually been kinda fun building something side by side.
For my birthday? Let’s just say he did well.  Lol. I got luggage because we are about to live on the go. More than anything, it’s the peace and consistency that mean the most. We’re continuing to grow, to choose each other, and to find joy in the everyday!

The Daily Dish:Â In addition to the launch of DUES, what else are you excited about these days. What are some of the updates on your life since the last season on Married to Medicine?
Dr. Jackie: Whew…..so, where do I start? Of course, I’m excited about DUES. Creating a scrub line that’s fashionable, functional, and made for women who do it all is a labor of love. Now there’s so much more happening.
Since the last season of Married to Medicine, I’ve been shifting. I’m still passionate about women’s health, but I’m also building businesses that allow me to impact lives outside of the exam room. I’ve reimagined the Fifty Shades of Pink Foundation to focus not just on breast cancer, but on all the ways we can support Black women’s health like education, confidence, and access.
Curtis and I have also started a transportation company, and I’ve stepped more into my role as a mentor, a coach, and honestly, a woman who’s still figuring it out, but doing it boldly.
I’m leaning into peace, building legacy, letting go of what no longer serves me and choosing to live fully, not just exist. So yes, there’s a lot going on. But I’ve never been more clear about who I am and what I’m here to do.
Take a closer look at Dr. Jackie’s marriage with Curtis.
