Erin Lichy is showing off her recent stunning hair transformation. The Real Housewives of New York City Season 16 cast member sat down in the salon chair, giving a peek inside her hair makeover, where she went from brunette to blonde in before-and-after photos.
Erin’s hair colorist, Rosario Cannata, took to Instagram on Feb. 25, where he posted a video showing off what Erin’s hair looked like before the transformation and after the transformation. In the video, Erin can be seen sitting down in the salon chair, sporting brown hair with some lighter ends. But this didn’t last for long. The colorist did some highlighting to Erin’s hair, resulting in blonde streaks throughout the brown base, and lighter pieces framing her face. Erin seemed very happy with the results, running her hands through her hair and tousling it for the camera at the end of the video. “Nothing like a coffee and a highlight to start the morning,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
Erin also took to her Instagram Story, where she admitted that she wasn’t always confident that she would end up going with highlights. “For 5 seconds I thought about going brown but then nope,” she wrote over the before and after snapshots.
Erin Lichy returns for RHONY Season 16: cast details
Erin’s hair transformation was revealed just ahead of the big announcement that she will be returning as a cast member for RHONY Season 16. She will be joined by returning The Real Housewives of New York City cast members, Sai De Silva and Jessel Taank.
They will be joined by newcomers, Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye, who will be joining the show as full-time housewives. Carole Radziwill has also been confirmed to join the group as a RHONY Season 16 friend after several seasons away.
An announcement for RHONY Season 16 notes that “more information on the upcoming season will be announced at a later date.”Â

Erin Lichy shares a major update on her marriage to her husband, Abe Lichy
So much has happened in Erin’s life since the RHONY Season 15. Erin and her husband, Abe Lichy, welcomed their fourth child into the world — a son named Jack Hunter Lichy — in March 2025, and have since been able to get on the same page about their financial situation.
Erin appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Oct. 28, where she joked that she was “still mad” at Abe for selling some of their Bitcoin without her knowing.
She also told WWHL host Andy Cohen that being a mom to four kids is “great.” “Just add it to the mix,” she noted.
