Ethan Crumbley’s Mom Found GUILTY of Involuntary Manslaughter in Oxford High School Shooting – Crime Online

The mother of a Michigan teen who killed four people in a 2021 high school shooting was convicted of involuntary manslaughter on Tuesday.

Jennifer Crumbley, mother of mass shooter Ethan Crumbley, was convicted following a full day of jury deliberations.

Last year, Ethan Crumbley pleaded guilty to his role in the shooting and was sentenced to life in prison. Along with Ethan Crumbley’s father, James, Jennifer Crumbley was charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly neglecting to get their son mental health treatment and for buying him a gun days before the shooting.

School officials had a meeting with Ethan Crumbley’s parents the morning of the shooting, amid concerns about a threatening drawing he drew in class. Despite this, the teen’s parents kept him in school that day. He would carry out the shooting hours later.

James Crumbley’s trial is scheduled to begin in March.
