Hang on to your hats, partner, because we’re riding into The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys’ premiere on Bravo.
The stakes couldn’t be higher in the show’s second season as eldest brother, Steven McBee Jr., takes the reins from his father. He and his brothers, Jesse McBee and Cole McBee, will be saddling up for harvest season in the hope that they will save the family’s Gallatin, Missouri, farm before it falls into foreclosure.
“With Steven’s relationship with Calah [Jackson] on the rocks, Jesse’s anxiety around marrying Alli [Ventresca], and Cole buckling under the pressure of becoming a father with pregnant girlfriend, Kacie [Adkison], these young men find themselves attempting to salvage their relationships and save the farm at the same time,” according to the show’s official description. “When an FBI investigation threatens to take down their business, their mother, Kristi [McBee], has to step in to keep the family from falling apart.”
A first look at The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys
The McBees are back, and it’s messier than ever.
As seen in the show’s exciting First Look, the brothers — and those closest to them — must put everything on the line to save the farm and preserve their good name.
“My loyalty lies with my family and on this farm and ranch,” Steven Jr. says. “I would defend that until the day I die.”
A hearty dose of laughter can be expected as the real-life cowboys carry on with their antics, but the season won’t hold back as they face their greatest personal and professional challenges yet. One snippet shows a tearful Alli discussing how she and Jesse are at “different place[s]” in their lives, and the brothers apply pressure for Jesse to arrange a prenup before their big day.
Business squabbles between the siblings also mount as the farm faces a whopping $6 million debt.
CFO Galyna Saltkovska is also dealing with her own drama.
“Your dad moved me out, then he moved in [a] backstabbing whore,” she tells Steven Jr.
Cole’s relationship with his pregnant girlfriend, Kacie, is strained by his drinking and her “trust issues,” per the recent teaser. Makeups and breakups may be in store for Steven Jr. and Calah, too, amid reports that she called the brothers “hillbilly f–ks.”
“You’re the most pessimistic person to ever speak about my family,” Steven Jr. tells her.
Broken glass, secrets surrounding a federal investigation, and a shocking arrest are all to come the family’s way, and the McBees won’t take it sitting down.
What we know so far about the McBees in Season 2
Steven Jr. will face “the constant highs and lows” of his relationship with Calah, all while burdened under the yoke of debt and an FBI investigation. According to the show’s official description, he’ll be “tested to confront not just the future of the farm, but the man he’s trying to become.”
The couple’s relationship leaves Calah on the outs with the McBees. She’ll have to decide whether fighting for a seat at the McBee table is worthwhile.
Jesse will face cold feet ahead of tying the knot with his high school sweetheart, Alli, “second-guessing everything he thought he wanted” after 10 years together.
Younger brother, Cole, must attempt to shed his reckless past while trying to take the lead from Steven Jr. His pregnant girlfriend, Kacie, is faced with a challenge: Will she trust Cole wholeheartedly, or walk away once and for all?
Meanwhile, baby brother Brayden McBee steps in as the family’s “most eligible bachelor,” which might land the brothers in hot water.
Plus, the boys’ mother, Kristi, makes a huge splash in Season 2, despite steering clear of the cameras in Season 1: “Kristi takes charge of the family farm and becomes the steady, no-nonsense presence her sons rely on, whether they’re ready for honesty or not.”
As seen in the show’s First Look (above), Kristi and Galyna will sit face-to-face, as Kristi “finally confronts Galyna, the woman she holds responsible for tearing her marriage apart.”
But, it appears Galyna and Steve Sr. are no longer an item, as indicated when the patriarch moved in her friend, Masha, behind her back.
“Heartbroken and distracted, Galyna struggles to focus on the company she helped build,” the description continues. “As she fights to stay strong, the weight of betrayal threatens to consume her.”
