A 40-year-old Wisconsin man has been arrested for the murder of a 66-year-old “family member” found dead Wednesday at a home in Brillion.
Calumet County deputies have requested first degree murder charges for Kenneth Manning Nelson, according to WLUK.
Nelson was booked into jail late Wednesday afternoon, jail records show.
Deputies said they responded to a “medical call” at the home and found the man dead with blunt force trauma to the head.
The victim has not been publicly identified. Before identifying Nelson as the suspect they’d taken into custody, police called him a “male family member” and said he was arrested at the scene of the murder, WFRV reported.
The call came in about 10:30 a.m. No further information has been released, and formal charges have yet to be filed.
