Rachel Morin’s family are reportedly distributing flyers in California as her murder in Maryland remains unsolved months later.
Morin, 37, was found dead in a drainage ditch on the Ma and Pa trail on August 6, a day after her boyfriend reported her missing. KTLA reported that Morin’s family is distributing flyers in Los Angeles — where DNA evidence linked her suspected killer to an unsolved home invasion and assault of a young girl.

A home security system reportedly filmed the suspect exiting a Los Angeles home in March, months before Morin’s murder.
According to KTLA, Morin’s family is working with the United States Postal Service’s Targeted Mailing Program to send flyers to 10,000 homes in Los Angeles. Fox News reported that the flyers are being distributed in the same neighborhood the young girl was attacked.
“I am praying that someone, maybe someone who has had a similar experience, will have compassion and help in identifying this person,” Morin’s mother told Fox. “We are literally sitting in limbo and can’t move because we have no answers, no direction.”
No arrests have been made. A $30,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the capture of Morin’s killer.
