A Florida woman was arrested last week for allegedly littering 75 tampons on her ex-boyfriend’s lawn.

A woman told Volusia County police that on September 30, she and her live-in boyfriend returned home and found dozens of red-painted tampons in their yard. The couple claimed surveillance footage showed a truck circling their home before someone is seen tossing tampons from the back of the truck, according to WTVT.

The footage reportedly also showed a woman on foot tossing more tampons on the couple’s lawn.

The couple suspected the culprit was the man’s ex-girlfriend, Orange County firefighter Gabrielle Franze, 28. The couple told investigators that they believed Franze was unhappy with their relationship, according to WKMG.

License plate readers reportedly confirmed the truck belonged to Franze, who initially claimed she did not know where her ex-boyfriend lived.

Upon being shown photos of the license reader, she allegedly stated that she was at the home but did not devise the scheme, blaming it on her mother and aunt.

Franze was arrested on Friday and charged with stalking. According to WTVT, the Orange County Fire Rescue Department said she has been placed on paid leave in light of her arrest.
