Florida Teens Indicted for Shooting Classmate, Setting Her on Fire – Crime Online

Two Florida teens were indicted Friday, in connection with the death of Danika Troy, a 14-year-old Pace girl found murdered earlier this month.

FOX 10 reported that Gabriel Williams, 16, and Kimahri Blevins, 14, are facing first-degree premeditated murder charges for the death of Danika Troy, 14, who had been shot multiple times.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, police said the defendants lured Danika to a wooded area, shot her, doused her body with gasoline, and set her on fire.

Danika’s mother reported her missing after the teen vanished with her scooter. While she had been reported as a runaway on December 1, her burned body was discovered in Pace the following day.

A witness reportedly claimed Blevins and Williams plotted the murder, The Pensacola News Journal reports.

According to the witness, Blevins said,The initial plan was to shoot Danika once, but Gabriel continued to shoot. They then burned Danika’s body and left the area.”

An arraignment for both defendants is scheduled for January 8, according to FOX 10.
