Florida Woman Disappears During Cross-Country Trip, Leaves Mother Cryptic Note – Crime Online

Police in California are seeking tips on a missing Florida woman who hasn’t been seen since July.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, Ganna Kovrizhynkh, 38, was last seen on July 5, after she drove through San Diego County.

Police later found her Jeep Grand Cherokee and camper trailer abandoned in the 25000 block of Potrero Park Drive, in Potrero.

Prior to law enforcement finding the vehicle, Kovrizhynkh’s mother received “a photograph of a letter along with GPS coordinates” to the Potrero area.

The letter, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, gave instructions for Kovrizhynkh’s belongings to go to her mother.

“We believe she was just kind of touring the country, and she left her vehicle in Potrero and never came back to her vehicle,” San Diego Sheriff’s Department SGT. Jacob Klepach told Local 12 News.

“We don’t really have any belief one way or another at this point if there is foul play involved or if she just strictly voluntarily left.”

Kovrizhynkh, according to NBC San Diego, could possibly be wearing a wig and going by the alias “Angel Volnaya,” according to the sheriff’s department.

The sheriff’s office added that she may have crossed the U.S.-Mexico border into Baja California, Mexico.

Kovrizhynkh’s last address is listed in Hallandale Beach, Florida. She also reportedly has a business listing in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida linked to her name.

A friend at the business said they have not spoken to her in months.

She’s described as standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing around 100 pounds. She has blond hair, blue eyes and multiple arm tattoos.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 858-868-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
